Priorité Haiti? Haiti priority?

Donc les Etats Unis s’étaient assurés qu’aucun autre pays comme la Chine ou la France ne saisirait l’occasion du tremblement de terre en 2010 pour s’établir en Haïti. Et l’ancien président Clinton avait été nommé en charge des opérations de reconstruction.

Un an après, les media du Village ont rapporté que pas grand-chose ne s’était passé depuis un an. Et Mr Clinton a avoué que personne n’était plus frustré que lui de l’inaction a date….

Je suppose qu’il avait d’autres priorités en 2010, comme essayer de préparer la future nomination de sa femme comme candidate démocrate a la présidence, et ensuite essayer de boucher les trous causes par le tsunami de WilkiLeaks dans le CV de son épouse.

A mon avis, le Président Carter aurait été un meilleur choix pour Haiti. Quant aux machines a recycler le béton bloquées 9 mois dans les douanes Haïtiennes, j’aurais deux questions : comment l’équipement a-t-il finalement été relâché par les douanes Haïtiennes… et comment se fait-il qu’un ancien président des Etats Unis ne pouvait pas régler le problème plus tôt, éventuellement en utilisant les media ?

Je suppose qu’Haïti n’était pas vraiment une priorité pour lui.

So the USA made sure that no other country would take the opportunity of the earthquake to set foot in Haïti. And Former President Clinton was named in charge of the rebuilding operations. One year later, the media in the Village reported that not much had happened. And Mr Clinton admitted that nobody was more frustrated than him about not much happening… 

I guess he had other priorities in 2010, like trying to prepare his wife’s future nomination for presidential democratic candidate, and then trying plugging the holes caused by the WilkiLeaks tsunami in his wife CV. Former president Carter would have been a better choice in my opinion. 

As for the concrete recycling equipment blocked 9 months in the Haitian customs, I have two questions: how did the equipment got finally released by the Haïtian customs… and how come a former President of the USA could not get it solved earlier, eventually using the media?

I guess Haïti was not really his priority.
