Un pour toi, un pour moi...
Ce Dimanche, le pape Francois va canoniser Jean XXIII, et le post-pape Benoit, plus connu sous le nom de Ratzinger le panzer cardinal, va canoniser Jean-Paul 2. Chacun son saint...  après des années de negotiation entre les cardinaux...
Ratzinger et les conservateurs ne voulaient pas canoniser Jean XXIII qui avait ouvert les fenêtres de l'Eglise avec le concile Vatican 2... mais le pape Francois aime bien Jean XXIII, comme moi, alors il leur a propose un marché: on accélère la canonisation de JP2 pendant que Ratzinger peut encore célébrer le messe de canonisation, et en échange on canonise immédiatement Jean XXIII. OK? Bon ca marche...
Ensuite Francois se rendra cette année en Terre Sainte, ou il devrait convoquer un synode des évêques l'an prochain, a Jerusalem, ou a Bethlehem.
Et une fois la... si Francois décidait de rester, il y en aura au moins un qui ne sera pas étonné... moi...!

Au fait, après l'election du pape Francois, la nouvelle avait été répandue que le secrétaire d’état italien du pape sortant Benoit, Mgr Bertone, serait le secrétaire du nouveau pape et aussi resterait le secrétaire de l'ancien pape... nouvelle sans doute répandue par le secrétaire lui-meme...
Mais... le pape Francois avait refusé d’emménager dans les appartements pontificaux de 300 m2, leur préférant un appartement de 70 m2 dans la residence des membres du clergé de passage au Vatican... c'est vrai qu'il n'est que de passage... sans numéro, et en route pour la Terre Sainte... Cela lui avait aussi sans doute permis de s’éloigner de ce secrétaire d’état un peu encombrant...
Et voila que cet ancien secretaire d'etat va emmenager dans un appartement de... 700 m2... a la stupeur du pape Francois qui doit hesiter entre le nommer son envoye special aux iles Fakland ou lui donner une paire de claques. Je recommende les deux...

One for you, one for me... This coming Sunday, the Pope Francis will make Jean XXIII a Saint, and the post-Pope Benoit, aka Ratzinger the panzer cardinal, will make Jean-Paul 2 a Saint. One each... after years of negotiation between the cardinals...
Then Francois will go this year in the Holy Land, where he should call for a Synod of all bishops for next year in Jerusalem, or in Bethlehem. And once there... if Francois was to decide that he will stay in the Holy Land, there will be at least one person not surprised by his decision... me...! 

By the way, after the election of Pope Francis, news spread that the Secretary of State Italian of the past Pope Benedict, Mgr Bertone, would remain as the Secretary of State of the new Pope as well as stay as secretary of the past Pope... news probably spread by the Secretary himself... 
But... the Pope Francis had refused to move into the Papal apartments of 300 m2, preferring instead to move into a 70 m2 apartment in the building where were staying the priests and other religious members visiting the Vatican... come to think, it is true that he is only passing by... no number, and on his way to the Holy Land... This move probably also helped him stay away from this Secretary of State a bit special... 
Guess what... this former Secretary of State is moving shortly into an apartment of ... 700 m2... Pope Francis cannot believe this is happening, and must be hesitating between naming him his special envoy to the Falkland islands, or giving him a slap on the cheeks. I recommend both...
