Après le troisième débat des candidats démocrates a la présidence des Etats Unis (et chef de gouvernement - pas de premier ministre aux USA), et AVANT les premiers caucus démocrates qui pourraient faire reculer certains candidats, a mon avis:

Les poids lourds: 
Joe Biden: 76 ans. Ancien vice-president avec le president Obama. A raté sa chance en 2016 (ne s'est pas présenté contre Hillary Clinton pour raison familiale). A l'appui des fortunes et grandes familles démocrates. Un peu trop âgé?... Favori des sondages. Auquel cas son vice-president devra être une femme ou un noir a mon avis, de preference proche de Bernie Sanders...?
Cory Booker: 50 ans. Sénateur du New Jersey. Ancien maire de Newark. Noir. Ancien joueur de football américain. Très focus sur battre Trump a tout prix. Seul candidat actuellement en poste dans un Etat avec des bons résultats. Vice- president?
Elizabeth Warren: 69 ans. Sénatrice du Massachusetts. Ancien professeur de droit a Harvard. Surnomme Pocahontas par Trump, pour ses origines amérindiennes très lointaines. Proche de Bernie Sanders. Ministre de l'education ou vice-présidente?
Kamala Harris: 55 ans. Sénatrice de Californie. Mere indienne, père Jamaïcain. Procureur redoutable de Californie. Douée pour l'attaque! pas sure que ce soit une qualification pour la présidence. Ministre de la Justice ou... vice-présidente (femme et noire...) ?
et...
Amy Klobuchar: 58 ans. Sénatrice du Minnesota. Lutte pour le climat, pour l'avortement, pour investir dans les infrastructures. Plus proche de Joe Biden que de Bernie Sanders. Seule représentante du MidWest. Vice-présidente?
et le populiste... Bernie Sanders: 77 ans. Sénateur du Vermont. Socialiste a gauche toute! (assurance sante pour tous, université publiques gratuites, salaire horaire mini 15 USD,...). Mais aucune chance comme candidat présidentiel face a Trump.

Les candidats potentiels pour un poste dans le gouvernement:
Tulsi Gabbard: 37 ans. Représentante de l’état de Hawaii. Militaire médicale en Irak. Proche de Bernie Sanders. Ministre de la Santé?
Pete Buttigieg: 37 ans. Maire de South Bend (Indiana). Véteran de l’armée. Porte parole des LGBT, qui supportent lourdement financièrement sa campagne.
Beto O'Rourke: 46 ans. Ancien représentant de l’état du Texas. A échoué au siege de sénateur en 2018.

Les candidats qui vont abandonner a mon avis...:
Andrew Yang: 44 ans. Entrepreneur New Yorkais. Tres fort sur Internet...
Julian Castro: 44 ans. Ancien maire de San Antonio (Texas). Petit fils d'une immigrée mexicaine. Ministre du logement sous le president Obama.
Kirsten Gillibrand: 52 ans. Sénatrice de l’état de New York (depuis Janvier 2019, après Hillary Clinton). Lutte contre le harcèlement sexuel dans l’armée. Proche de Bernie Sanders.
John Delaney: ancien représentant du Maryland. Declare candidat depuis Juillet 2017... toujours inconnu du public.
Bill de Blasio: Maire de New York. Les choses ne vont pas très bien a New York...
Marianne Williamson. Auteur de 12 livres...
Tim Ryan: Représentant de l'Ohio. Adepte de la meditation. N'a pas mis sa main sur le cœur lors de l'hymne américain au second debat...!
Michael Bennett: Sénateur du Colorado. Cancer de la prostate a priori guéri depuis depuis Mai 2019.
Steve Bukllock: gouverneur du Montana.
Tom Steyer: fortune de 1 milliard de dollars...
Joe Sestak: Amiral 3 étoiles. Ancien représentant de la Pennsylvanie. A échoué au siege de sénateur.
Wayne Messam: Noir. Maire en Floride.
Tom Stayer: candidat en Juillet 2019...
Mike Gravel: 89 ans. Campagne sur Internet uniquement.
et ont déjà quitté...
Jay Inslee: 68 ans. Gouverneur de l’état de Washington. Champion de la guerre contre le réchauffement climatique. Futur ministre de l'Environnement a mon avis.
John Hickenlooper: Ancien maire de Denver et ancien gouverneur du Colorado.
Seth Moulton: Représentant du Massachusetts. Ancien marines en Irak.

After the third debate between the candidates for the American Presidential election (and chief of government as no Prime Minister in the USA), and BEFORE the first democrat caucuses which could set back some candidates:

The heavy weights: 
Joe Biden: 76 years old. Former Vice-President with President Obama. Missed his chance in 2016 (did not challenge Hillary Clinton for family reason). Is supported by Democrat millionaires and big families. A bit old?... Favorite in the sondages. In which case, his Vice-President should be a woman or a black person in my opinion, preferably close to Bernie Sanders...?
Cory Booker: 50 years old. Senator of New Jersey. Former mayor of Newark. Black person. Former American football player. Very focus on beating Trump. Only candidate still in action, in a State with good results. Vice-president?

The potential candidates for a position in the government:

Kirsten Gillibrand: 52 years old. Woman senator for the State of New York (since January 2019, after Hillary Clinton). Lead the fight against sexual harassment in the Army. Close to Bernie Sanders.
John Delaney: former Representative for the State of Maryland. Declared candidat since July 2017... still unknown from the public.
Bill de Blasio: Mayor of  New York. Things are not so bright in New York...
Marianne Williamson. Author of 12 books...
Tim Ryan: Representative for Ohio. Keen on meditation. Did not put his hand on his heart when the American hymn played...!
Michael Bennett: Senator for Colorado. Cancer of prostate apparently healed since May 2019.

** Elections

Au Canada, la campagne pour les elections législatives, qui vont determiner le gouvernement et le premier ministre, débute ce 11 Septembre, et va durer 40 jours.
Voulez vous garder le gouvernement liberal actuel, éventuellement minoritaire, et qui devra gouverner avec le parti écologique ou le NPD (parti socialiste dirons nous), ou bien voulez vous remettre au pouvoir les conservateurs? Si vous hésitez entre le parti écologique et le NPD, vous pourriez bien avoir dans vos mains le parti que les Libéraux ou les Conservateurs devront composer avec pour avoir une majorité a l’assemblée legislative.

Au Trumpistan, la campagne pour la determination du gouvernement (election présidentielle) est lancée depuis plusieurs mois, et va durer encore 14 mois... C'est vrai que le Trumpistan est la seule démocratie que je connais qui ne choisit pas son chef de gouvernement parmi la majorité de l’assemblée legislative, qui vote les lois. Une erreur a mon avis a laquelle il faudrait remédier en changeant la Constitution.
La cote de popularité du president actuel est tombée de 46% a 36% cette semaine. Ce president impulsif, intuitif, diviseur, un peu raciste (ou beaucoup selon) et bouffon a mes yeux, avait deja perdu toute crédibilité aux yeux de beaucoup de pays dans le Village. L'Iran, la Coree du Nord, la Chine, la Syrie et les anciens allies européens ont perdu toute confiance en lui. Il n'a pas rendu les Etats Unis plus grands, mais il les a rendus plus isoles dans le Village que jamais.
Voila que maintenant plus de 60% des américains ont indique qu'ils ne souhaitaient pas le voir conduire le pays encore 4 ans, fatigues de ses rodomontades, de ses decisions sans effet reel autre que ses propres affirmations utilisant la méthode Coué, et de sa centaine de tweets en fin de semaine, au lever, avant d'aller passer sa journée sur ses terrains de golf.
Il a également renvoyé ou enregistré la démission de pres de 40 aides ou consultants dans son gouvernement, en moins de 3 ans, beaucoup plus que n importe quel president avant lui.
Dernier exemple. Le president dit avoir renvoyé ce matin son conseiller national a la sécurité (il va nommer son quatrième conseiller national en 3 ans...). Le conseiller a répondu ce matin que en fait il avait  offert sa démission Dimanche soir. Il faut dire que le president du Trumpistan s’apprêtait a rencontrer en secret Dimanche dernier des représentants des Talibans afghans pour signer un accord de paix. Sauf que... il n'avait pas réalisé que cette réunion se tiendrait 3 jours avant l'anniversaire des attentats terroristes d'Al Qaeda du 11 Septembre a New York. Il a annule la reunion a la dernière minute. Penser 3 jours a l'avance serait au-dessus des capacités de ce president semble-t-il?

In Canada, the campaign for the legislative elections which will determine the government and the Prime Minister, are starting this September 11, and will last 40 days.
Do you want to keep the actual Liberal government, eventually not with a majority. which means they will have to govern with the help of the Ecology party of of the NDP (let's say socialist party), or do you want to bring back the Conservative party? If you are hesitating between the Ecology party and the ND you might have in your hands which party will help the Liberal or the Conservative to get a majority.

In Trumpistan, the campaign to decide of the future government (presidential election) has started months ago and will last another 14 months... Trumpistan is the only democracy I know which does not choose its chief of government among the majority of the Legislative Assembly, which votes the laws... A mistake in my opinion which should be repaired by changing the Constitution.
The polls show that the approval of the actual President went down from 46% to 36% this week. This President impulsive, intuitive, dividing, a little racist (or a lot, you decide) and buffoon in my opinion had already lost his credibility with many countries in the Village. Iran, North Korea, China, Syria and the former European allies have lost all confidence in him. He did not make America great, but he made it more isolated in the Village than ever.
So now more than 60% of the Americans have indicated that they would not like to see him be re-elected for another 4 years, tired of his speeches, of his decisions without any real effect other than his own affirmations using the method Coue, and tired of his hundred of tweets each week end, as he gets up, before spending his week end on his golf course.
He has also fired or seen leaving him close to 40 aides or consultants in his government in less than 3 years, far more than any President before him.
Last example. The President says he fired this morning his National Security adviser (he is going to name a fourth one in less than 3 years...). His adviser answered this morning that in fact he had offered to resign Sunday evening. Mind you, the President of Trumpistan was getting ready to meet in secret last Sunday representative of the Afghan Talibans to sign a peace agreement. Except that... he had not realized that this meeting would have taken place 3 days before the commemoration of the Al Qaeda terrorist attack of September 11 in New York. He cancelled the meeting at the last meeting. Thinking 3 days in advance seems to be beyond the capacity of this President?

De retour de vacances en Ecosse, Angleterre et France.
Brexit est toujours chaotique, la France et les highlands en Ecosse sont toujours impressionnants pour le tourisme, l'Angleterre a une chance d’être en finale de la coupe du monde de rugby, et la France aussi... comme arbitre...!
De retour aux Amériques... rien de change, le Brésil toujours aux mains de l'extreme droite, le Trumpistan toujours erratique et qui se tire une balle dans le pied avec sa guerre commerciale contre la Chine et l'abandon de ses anciens allies européens, et le Canada qui se prepare a quelques jours de campagne pour les elections législatives, contre un an ou plus pour la présidentielle et les législatives au Trumpistan.

Brexit is still a mess, France and Scotland highlands are amazing for tourism, England has a chance for a place in final in the rugby world cup, and France has a chance for being in the final too... with a referee...!
Back to the Americas... not much changed, Brazil still in hands of the extreme right, Trumpistan still erratic and shooting itself in the foot with the trade war with China and the abandon of its former European allies, and Canada getting ready for a few days of campaign before the legislative elections versus a year and more in Trumpistan for presidential and legislative.
