Les USA, le Japon, la Corée du sud, Hong Kong, Taiwan et l'Allemagne ont reçu en Janvier 2020 la meme information en meme temps a propos du covid19 de la part de la Chine et de l'OMS.
Quel pays a le mieux écouté et pris en compte les avertissements...?
La réalité des résultats a ce jour...?
Quelques faits pour les américains... car leur president du Trumpistan les ignorera sans doute...

USA: 100,000 morts (ou beaucoup plus...?) Population 330 millions

Hong Kong: 4 morts Population 7.5 millions (equivalent a environ 200 morts aux USA...)
Taiwan: 7 morts Population 24 millions (equivalent a environ 100 morts aux USA...)
Corée du sud: 270 morts Population 52 millions (equivalent a environ 2,000 morts aux USA...)
Japon: 886 morts. Population 125 millions (equivalent a environ 2,500 morts aux USA...)
et meme l'Allemagne:
8,600 morts Population 84 millions (equivalent a environ 35,000 morts aux USA...)

Comme l'a fait remarqué "The Economist", l'avantage des USA est pourtant leur densité de population beaucoup plus faible que beaucoup de pays, mais leur désavantage est le nombre plus élevé de conditions médicales aggravantes (obésité, diabète, risque cardiaque).
Les morts par le virus ont été faibles dans les états peu peuplés du centre des USA, ce qui a permis de faire baisser la moyenne statistique des USA...
Dans les grandes villes de Californie le confinement a pourtant permis de lutter très efficacement, versus New York par exemple qui n'a pas opte pour un confinement des le debut.

Le manque de direction et le refus de prendre ses responsabilités du president du Trumpistan et son insistance (aux fins de sa reelection en novembre) a sous estimer publiquement l'importance du virus de la fin janvier a la mi-mars (bourse de New York moins 36%) lors de points de presse irréalistes ou surréalistes ont certainement pesé lourd également dans le manque de reaction des américains vis a vis du virus et le nombre de morts des USA.
Il faut noter également que, pour la premiere fois dans l'histoire moderne des pandémies, le CDC américain basé a Atlanta n'a pas fait de conference journalière, car muselé par le president du Trumpistan.

Malheureusement le virus a également frappé beaucoup plus fort les populations moins fortunées, (comme la population noire) qui connaissent aujourd'hui le plus fort taux de chomage.
Alors ajoutez y l'assassinat d'un citoyen noir a Minneapolis la semaine dernière par un policier blanc récidiviste, sous le regard passif de trois autres policiers blancs, et vous comprendrez l'exasperation de ceux qui manifestent leur désarroi et leur désespoir dans plusieurs villes des USA.
Les manifestants demandent l'arrestation des trois autres policiers blancs present et passifs.
Et les plus désespérés en profitent pour casser quelques vitrines et voler des articles qu'ils ne peuvent plus s'acheter. Tout a fait condamnable ben sur. Mais... quand verront-ils une solution au fonds du problème?

Bonne chance aux américains, jusqu’à l'election présidentielle de debut novembre 2020, leur sort est entre leurs mains, avec un bulletin de vote, en personne ou par correspondance bien sur comme dans toutes les vraies democracies.
Apres cette election, plus personne dans le Village ne plaindra les américains si...

Which country has best listened and taken into account the warnings and recommendations...?
The reality of the results to-date...? 
Some facts for the Americans... as their President of Trumpistan will no doubt ignore them...

USA: 100,000 death (or lot more?) Population 330 millions

Hong Kong: 4 deaths Population 7.5 millions (equivalent to around 200 dead in the USA...)
Taiwan: 7 deaths Population 24 millions (equivalent to around 100 deaths in the USA...)
South Korea: 270 deaths Population 52 millions (equivalent to around 2,000 deaths in the USA...)
Japon: 886 deaths. Population 125 millions (equivalent to around 2,500 deaths in the USA...)
and even Germany: 
8,600 deaths Population 84 millions (equivalent to around 35,000 deaths in the USA...)

As noted by "The Economist", USA had the advantage of  a population density far lower than most countries, but their problem was a higher number of medical conditions like obesity, diabetics, cardiac risk.
Deaths by the virus were less in the States with a low density of population in the middle of the USA, which had the benefit to lower the statistical average of the USA...
In the big cities of California confinement allowed them to control pretty well the virus, versus New York for instance which did not confine at the beginning.

The lack of direction and the refusal to take responsibility of the President of Trumpistan and his continuous persistent public underestimation of the virus (thinking it would help his reelection in November) from end of January to middle of March (New York stock exchange down by 36%) at each of his daily media conference, surrealists..., certainly carried a heavy weight in the lack of reaction of the Americans towards the virus and in the total number of deaths in the USA.
Also please note that for the first time in the modern history of pandemic issues, the American CDC based in Atlanta did not get to deliver a daily update, as it was muzzled by the President of Trumpistan.

But... the virus hit far more the less fortunate populations (like the black population) which today has the highest unemployment statistic numbers.
Now add the assassination of a black citizen  in Minneapolis last week by a recidivist white policeman under the passive look of three other white policemen, and you can understand the exasperation of those demonstrating to show their disarray and their despair in many cities of the USA.
The demonstrators are asking for the arrest also of the three other white policemen present and passive.
And the more despaired demonstrators did take the occasion to to break a few windows and steal some items that they cannot afford anymore. Of course completely unacceptable. But... when do they get a solution to the bottom of the problem?

Good luck to the American people, until the presidential election of early November 2020, their fate is in their hands, with the voting ballot, in person or by mail like in all the real democracies. 
After this election, nobody in the Village will feel sorry for the Americans, if...

G3 au Japon? G3 in Japan?

1. Le président du Trumpistan vient de dire que si les gouverneurs de tous les états américains ne déconfinaient pas immédiatement tous les lieux de culte, il l'ordonnerait lui-meme.
En fait... il n'a aucune autorité sur ce sujet. Mais cela a plu a ses fans chrétiens évangéliques ultra conservateurs, en vue de sa seule priorité bien sur, sa re-election en novembre...

2. Le président du Trumpistan vient de dire que si la convention qui doit se tenir en Caroline du nord en Juillet pour élire le candidat du parti républicain n'est pas complètement déconfinée, il bougera la convention dans un autre état.
En fait... il n'a aucune autorité sur ce sujet.
Mais c'est vrai que le gouverneur de la Caroline du Nord est un démocrate...
Si le president refuse de venir a la convention, cela voudra-t-il dire qu'il ne pourra pas officiellement devenir le candidat du parti républicain?...! Chiche monsieur le gouverneur...
(au minimum c'est le moment d'utiliser ses tactiques et de faire pression sur ce president jusqu’à quelques jours de l'ouverture de la convention, et d'obtenir de lui plus d'aide pour la Caroline du Nord...)

3. Enfin le president du Trumpistan, toujours obnubilé par sa re-election, vient de declarer qu'il invitait les pays du G7 a se réunir a Camp David (Maryland) troisième semaine de Juin, soit quelques semaines avant la convention républicaine qui devrait le nommer par acclamation je suppose.
Je recommande aux gouvernants des autres pays du G7 (Canada, France, Allemagne, Italie, UK, Japon) de lui répondre que leur priorité actuelle journalière reste le virus COVID19 et la vie de leurs concitoyens avec un déconfinement graduel et responsable, des mesures urgentes pour les maisons de retraite en vue de la vague de chaleur attendue cet été (a Montreal 32 deg C deja pendant 3 jours cette semaine...) et la preparation pour une deuxième vague éventuelle du virus.

Alors tant que toutes ces mesures n'auront pas été approuvées par leurs parlements respectifs, que les vols internationaux entre les pays du G7 n'ont pas repris de manière plus régulière, et que le nombre de morts et de nouveaux cas d'hospitalisation ne sera pas plus proche de zero (y compris au Trumpistan, dont le Maryland...), ils n'auront pas d’énergie a consacrer a un sommet beaucoup plus destiné a redorer le blason du president du Trumpistan qu'a régler les problèmes économiques de chaque pays.
Je rappelle également que la frontière entre les USA et le Canada est officiellement fermée jusque vers la fin Juin, et que le Maryland a toujours 500 personnes hospitalisées en soins intensifs et que 20 personnes par jour continuent d'y mourir.

Je rappelle que les BRIC (Brésil, Russie, Inde, Chine) ne font pas partie du G7 qui a officiellement une vocation purement économique, donc réduite de nos jours. Le G7 a été créé en 1975... il y a 45 ans...!
A part l'Angleterre et le Japon, les autres pays n'attendent plus grand chose économiquement des Etats Unis dans le cadre de la crise du COVID19. Les Etats Unis se sont bien moqués de leurs allies depuis 3 ans en annonçant toutes leurs decisions internationales sans jamais les consulter.
Et je vois mal comment un Trumpistan endetté jusqu'au cou (et plus...) va pouvoir aider le G7, alors que plus du quart de sa dette est dans les mains du Japon et de la Chine. Les 4 ans perdus par cette administration pour se replacer en tête par exemple des nouvelles economies engendrées par l'environnement va peser lourd dans le proche futur des USA.
Attendez que le dollar US perde de sa superbe, que le prix du pétrole s'enfonce définitivement, et que l'Asie continue de se réveiller...

G3
Je recommande de réunir simplement le G3, avec les USA, le Japon et l'Angleterre, et de laisser les autres gouvernants européens a leur priorité de lutter intelligemment contre le virus qui rode toujours n'en déplaise au president du Trumpistan et a ses declarations depuis fin Janvier
D'ailleurs ces 3 pays du G3 ont déjà un accord de défense maritime!
Pourquoi ces 2 pays...?
Le Japon, car  le Trumpistan veut les convaincre de continuer a aider a acheter le deficit américain, surtout que la Chine risque de se montrer moins intéressée.
Et l'Angleterre car elle veut l'aide des Etats Unis encore plus avec sa sortie de l'Europe en 2020.
Donc en fait, dans le cadre de l'accord maritime... le Japon viendrait en aide pour "renflouer" le Trumpistan et a l'Angleterre...
Alors autant tenir la reunion au Japon, non?
Surtout que leur lutte contre le COVID19 a ete exemplaire malgré leur proximité de la Chine: moins de 900 morts a date pour une population de 125 millions, et très peu de nouveau cas de virus cette semaine.

1. The President du Trumpistan has just said that if the governors of all the American states did not open - deconfine all the places of worship, he would order it himself. 
In fact... he has no authority on the subject. But that pleased his fans evangelist Christians ultra conservative, in light of his only priority of course, his re-election in November...

2. The President of Trumpistan has just said that if the convention to be held in North Carolina in July to choose the presidential candidate of the Republican party was not totally deconfined, he would move the convention to another State. 
In fact... he has no authority on the subject.
But it is true that the governor of North Carolina is a Democrat...
If the President refuses then to come to the Convention, does that mean that he cannot become officially the candidate of the Republican party?...! Yes, come on Mr governor, do it...!
(at minimum it will be a good time to use his own tactics and put pressure on him until the last days before the convention to get more help for North Carolina...)

3. Finally the President of Trumpistan, always focus on his reelection, has just declared that he was inviting the countries of the G7 to come and meet at Camp David (Maryland) around the third week of June, ie a few weeks before the Republican convention which should elect him by acclamation I guess.
I recommend to the governments of the other countries of the G7 (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, UK, Japan) to answer him that their present daily priority remains the virus COVID19 and the life of their citizens with a gradual and responsible deconfinement, urgent measures for the retirement houses in view of the heat wave expected this summer (in Montreal 32 deg C already for the current 3 days...) and the preparation for a potential second wave of the virus. 

So... until all these measures are approved by their legislators, Alors tant que toutes ces mesures n'auront pas été approuvées par leurs parlements respectifs, until the international flights between the G7 countries are not more regular, and until the number of deaths and new cases of virus is not closer to zero (including in Trumpistan, and Maryland of course...), they will not have any energy to spend for a summit geared more to serve the campaign of the President of Trumpistan than to solve the economic problems of each country.
I will remind you too that the border between Canada and the USA is still officially closed until end of June, and that Maryland still has 500 people in intensive care and 20 deaths per day still).

I will also remind everyone that the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China) are not part of the G7 which has officially only an economic vocation, so pretty much reduced nowadays. The G7 was created in 1975... 45 years ago...!
Except for UK and Japan, the other countries are not expecting much from the USA in this time of virus crisis. The USA has made a fool of their allies over the last 4 years by announcing all their international decisions without even consulting them before hand.
And I have a hard time to see how a Trumpistan in debt up to their neck (and higher...) might help the G7, while more a quarter of its debt is in the hands of Japan and China. The 4 years lost by this administration to take the lead for instance in the renewable energies for the environment are going to weigh heavily for the near future of the USA.
Wait until the US dollar starts losing its supremacy, until the price of oil goes down definitely, and for Asia to keep awakening...

I recommend to simply have a meeting for the G3, with the USA, Japan and the UK, and let the other European governments to their priority of fighting the virus in smart ways, a virus which is still running around, no matter what the President of Trumpistan thinks and says since the end of January. 
By the way, these 3 countries already have an agreement for defense on the seas! 
Why these 2 countries?
Japan, because Trumpistan wants to convince them to keep on helping buying the American deficit, mainly at the time when China might not be so keen on doing it...
And the UK because they want the help of the USA even more with their Brexit and going out of Europe in 2020.
So in fact, within the sea agreement... Japan would come and "refloat" Trumpistan and UK... 
So might as well hold the meeting in Japan, no? 
Even more when you know that, although they are close to China, they have had less than 900 deaths due to the virus to-date for a population of 125 million people, and very few new cases this week.

Distanciation / distancing

Je n'aime pas l'appellation "distanciation sociale"... Je lui préfère l'appellation "distanciation physique" lors des rapports sociaux...
Les rapports sociaux sont un besoin naturel, et une nécessité pour les humains.
Mais pour vous assurer que vos interlocuteurs respecteront une certaine distance avec vous (2m recommandes au Canada, contre 1m en France...!) et porteront un masque, je vous recommande lorsque vous sortez d'avoir avec vous un fromage français EPOISSE... distanciation garantie!
En prime le soir vous pourrez déguster un délicieux fromage coulant, avec un verre de vin.
Ordonnance a renouveler au besoin.

I don't like the name "social distancing"... I prefer to call it "physical distancing" when socialising...
The social encounters are a natural need, a must  for the humans.
But to make sure that the people you will encounter will respect a physical distanciation with you (2 m recommended in Canada, versus 1 m in France...!) and will wear a mask.  recommend that, when you go out, you take with you a French fromage called EPOISSE... distancing guaranteed!
Ans as a bonus, in the evening, you will be able to eat a delicious creamy cheese, with a glass of wine.
Prescription to be renewed as needed.
Good appetite and good distancing!

- Un mal qui répand la terreur , mal que le Ciel en sa fureur, inventa pour punir les crimes de la Terre, la Peste...
- (Les animaux) ne mouraient pas tous mais tous étaient frappés
- Le Lion dit... Que le plus coupable d'entre nous se sacrifie aux traits du céleste courroux.. l'Histoire nous apprend qu'en de tels accidents on fait de pareils dévouements...
- Voyons sans indulgence l’état de nos consciences... je me dévouerai donc s'il le faut...
- Le renard dit... vous êtes trop bons sire (le lion roi), manger moutons, canailles, sotte espèce n'est pas un péché ...
Et les flatteurs d'applaudir.
- On n'osa trop approfondir le Tigre, l'Ours et les autres puissances.
- L’âne dit: je tondis un pré de la largeur de ma langue...
- Un loup prouva par sa harangue qu'il fallait dévouer (sacrifier) ce maudit animal d'ou venait tout leur mal.
- Selon que vous serez puissant ou misérable, les jugements de cour vous rendront blanc ou noir.

In the fable of La Fontaine (17th century), "The animals sick with the covid19", well... in fact he wrote "The animals sick with the plague"... you can read... (my translation)

- A terrifying sickness sent by the Heavens to punish Earth for its crimes...
- (the animals) were not all dying, but all were sick
- The Lion said... The most culprit of all of us should sacrifice himself for the furor of the Heavens... History teaches us that in such circonstances, such sacrifices are made...
- Let's examine our souls without indulgence... I will give my life if necessary...

- A wolf, with his harangue, proved and convinced everyone that this donkey should be sacrificed as it was the *** animal having brought on them all the malediction.

I wish you a good meditation... which will probably take you to the Trumpistan and in the whole Village...
As for a malediction from the Heavens which would have decided that Earth needed a strong warning to force the humans to change many things... I'll let you decide...

 (AP) — “The Trump administration shelved a document created by the nation’s top disease investigators with step-by-step advice to local authorities on how and when to reopen restaurants and other public places during the still-raging coronavirus outbreak

The 17-page report by a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention team, titled “Guidance for Implementing the Opening Up America Again Framework,” was researched and written to help faith leaders, business owners, educators and state and local officials as they begin to reopen.

It was supposed to be published last Friday, but agency scientists were told the guidance “would never see the light of day,” according to a CDC official. The official was not authorized to talk to reporters and spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity.

The AP obtained a copy from a second federal official who was not authorized to release it.”

Apparently the recommendations of this report would have led too many States to delay the reopening of many activities, against the "wishes" of the President? And the White House has apparently dismissed the document as being "too detailed"...?

Apparemment les recommendations de ce rapport auraient conduit trop d'Etats américains a retarder l'ouverture de plusieurs activités, contre les "souhaits" du President? Et la Maison Blanch aurait dit que le document serait beaucoup "trop détaillé"?

The President of Trumpistan has declared that his advisers had told him that everything was under control around January 25 or so, which is why he did not act sooner on the COVID19...
Ha ha ha... Let me put the facts straight...

From mid January on, the President was receiving daily Intelligence reports about the virus, telling him that the risk was there of a serious health hazard to the country. But truly, his health advisers were reassuring him that all was under control so far... I guess like the man falling from the top of a building 30 floors high, and saying when he passed the windows of the 3rd floor : "So far so good..."

Around January 27, 2020, the chairman of the US Senate Intelligence committee, who saw all the reports of the USA Intelligence services going to the President, a Republican senator named Richard Burr (North Carolina) sold dozens of stock shares worth between 60 k and 1.7 million $. I see...

January 30 (President Trump) “We think we have it very well under control, we have very little problem in this country at the moment – five people. And those people are recuperating successfully. But we are working very closely with China and other countries, and we think it’s going to have a very good ending for it. I can assure you.”

The CDC (disease control in Atlanta) also confirmed the first person-to-person transmission in the United States, but the CDC Director Robert Redfield says “the immediate risk to the American public is low.” 
He did say "low"... but he also said "immediate"... like ask me again next week... or tomorrow...

However also on January 30, the WHO declared the virus an International Health emergency for matter of concern with the Covid19 (80,000 cases in the world and 2,600 deaths already).

And on January 31, the US Health secretary Alex Azar declared the Covid-19 a "national public health emergency" for the USA. 

From then on the President decided and continued to ignore and downplay the importance and the impact of the virus for the next 6 weeks, until the Stock market crashed by 36% in mid March bringing him back to some reality, but 6 weeks too late...

Instead of playing with the dates and choosing the ones that he wants, could the President of Trumpistan explain why he did not at least PREPARE the country for a potential epidemic (even if it would not happen...) as of the morning after January 31...?
Like ordering masks and respirators for instance, and setting plans for more testing (like Germany), auxiliary hospitals, and following WHO recommendations and leading the world: getting ready for masks, confinement, testing and follow-up of people tested positive?
That is what South Korea and Germany did.
But I guess there is a big difference between a country leader caring for the health of his citizens as his only priority and a former real estate developer and bankrupted casino owner caring only for his re-election beginning of November?
It looks to me like the Democrats were right when they asked for the impeachment of their President as soon as possible in December, without waiting for the November election.

Le President du Trumpistan a declare que ses conseillers lui avaient dit que tout était sous contrôle vers le 25 Janvier, et donc il n'avait pas réagi plus tot pour le virus COVID19...
Ha ha ha... Permettez moi de rétablir les faits...

A partir de la mi-janvier, le President a reçu des rapports journaliers de ses services secrets a propos du virus, lui disant que le risque était la pour un problème sérieux de sante pour le pays. Mais c'est vrai que ses conseillers en sante l'ont rassure que tout était sous contrôle pour l'instant... Je suppose comme la personne qui tombait du haut d'un immeuble de 30 étages et qui en passant devant les fenêtres du 3ème étage s'est exclamé: " Jusque la tout va bien"...

Verts le 27 Janvier, 2020, le chairman du comité des renseignements au Sénat américain, qui voyait passer tous les rapports des services de renseignement destines au President, un sénateur republican Richard Burr (Caroline du nord) a vendu es douzaines d'actions pour une valeur entre 60,000 et 1.7 million dollars.... je vois...

Le 30 Janvier (President Trump) “Nous pensons que nous avons tout sous contrôle, nous avons très peu de problème pour l instant dans le pays – cinq personnes. Et ces personnes récupèrent bien. Mais nous travaillons en étroite collaboration avec les Chinois et les autres pays, et nous pensons que nous aurons une conclusion très bonne pour nous. Je peux vous l'assurer.”

Le CDC (contrôle des épidémies basé a Atlanta) a également confirme la premiere transmission de personne a personne sur le sol américain, mais leur directeur Robert Redfield a dit que "le risque immédiat pour le public américain est faible.” 
Il a bien dit "faible"... mais il a également dit "immédiat"... comme dans redemandez moi dans une semaine... ou demain...

Cependant également le 30 Janvier 2020, l'OMS a déclaré que le virus covid19 était devenu un sujet urgent d'inquiétude pour la sante internationale (80,000 cas dans le monde avec 2,600  personnes décédées).

Et le 31 Janvier 2020, le secrétaire américain a la Sante Alex Azar a declare que le Covid-19 était devenu une "urgence nationale pour la sante publique" aux Etats Unis. 

A partir de la, le President décida et continua d'ignorer et de minimiser l'importance du virus pendant 6 semaines, jusqu’à ce que la bourse de New York s’effondre de 36% a la mi-mars et le ramène quelque peu a la réalité, mais 6 semaines trop tard...

Au lieu de jouer avec les dates et de choisir celles qui lui conviennent, est-ce que le president du Trumpistan pourrait expliquer pourquoi il n'a pas AU MOINS prepare le pays a une pandémie potentielle (meme si elle ne viendrait pas...), a partir du lendemain du 31 Janvier 2020...?
Comme demander au gouvernement de commander / fabriquer des masques et des respirateurs par exemple, et préparer un plan pour plus de tests (comme l'Allemagne), pour des hôpitaux auxiliaires, et suivre les recommendations de l'OMS et mener le monde: se préparer aux masques, au confinement, aux tests et au suivi des personnes testées positives?
C'est ce que la Corée du sud et l’Allemagne ont fait.
Mais je suppose qu'il y a une grosse difference entre un dirigeant soucieux de la sante de ses concitoyens comme sa seule priorité, et un promoteur immobilier et patron de casino en faillite qui ne se soucie que de sa re-election debut novembre?
Il me semble que les Démocrates avaient raison quand ils ont voulu destituer leur president en décembre dernier, le plus tot possible, sans attendre l'election de novembre.

** La grippe américaine de 1918 / The 1918 American flu

La grippe de 1918 dite « espagnole » qui a tué près de 100 millions de personnes n'a en fait rien à voir avec l’Espagne… (ou les ouvriers chinois qui ont aidé a construire le chemin de fer canadien !)

Selon un documentaire de la BBC (« La grippe espagnole ») réalisé 2018, et diffusé par RDI au Québec le 4 mai 2020 – Résumé ci-dessous (et commentaires)

La grippe dite « espagnole » a en fait démarré chez un fermier du Kansas (USA) qui élevait des canards.

Jour 0 identifié comme le 4 mars 1918. Ce fermier a ensuite transmis le virus au camp militaire au Kansas ou il était cuisinier, en préparation d’envoi au front en Europe pour la guerre de 1914-1918.

En un mois une trentaine de morts et 1000 cas de grippe. Le médecin a prévenu Washington de la situation et d’un virus dangereux pas ordinaire. Washington a choisi d’ignorer l'alerte, préférant laisser se déployer l'effort de guerre.

En Avril les militaires du camp militaire Kansas se rendent à New York et embarquent pour l'Europe,

Ils débarquent a Brest (France) et vont au front, ou ils contaminent tout le monde...

A fin mai 2018, 20,000 morts... Puis fin Août le virus se calme.

Mais le virus mute... et, de nouveau aux USA, dans un camp militaire au New Jersey il repart... le médecin demande le confinement, mais le colonel américain refuse et envoie les troupes de nouveau au front. Sauf que le virus a muté et est beaucoup plus transmissible et dangereux maintenant.

Et les célébrations de la fin de la guerre fin 1918 vont aider le virus à se propager de manière dramatique.

En 1918, 30,000 morts rien qu’en Grande Bretagne...

Avec la deuxième vague du virus en 2019 - 2020... entre 50 et 100 millions de morts dans le monde.

Conclusions du documentaire, réalisé en 2018:

Pour l’OMS, la menace la plus sérieuse pour le monde de nos jours reste une pandémie, pas une guerre...

Le taux de 3% de morts en 1918-1919 serait sans doute plutôt autour de 1% de nos jours.

Le virus de 1918 s'attaquait à l'oxygène dans le sang... (comme aujourd’hui)

Les enfants étaient très peu touchés... (comme aujourd’hui)

Les masques et le confinement restent les armes les plus nécessaires.

Une pandémie de nos jours si elle laisse se développer un virus qui a eu le temps de muter pourrait tuer entre 100 et 300 millions de personnes dans le monde.

Leçons à tirer pour une future attaque de virus – pandémie :

Confinement et masques le plus tôt possible, pour éviter une mutation du virus entre autres.

Et… faudrait-il renommer la « grippe espagnole » de 1918 qui a fait entre 50 et 100 millions de morts dans le monde, la « grippe américaine » ?...

The 1918 “Spanish flu” which killed between 50 and 100 million people has in fact nothing to with Spain… or the Chinese workers which helped build the Canadian railway from coast to coast.

As per a documentary made by the BBC (« The Spanish flu ») in 2018, and shown on May 4, 2020 by RDI in Quebec (in French) – Resume below (with comments)

The so-called « Spanish » flu in fact started with a farmer in Kansas (USA) – farm with lots of ducks.

Day 0 has been identified as March 4, 1918. The farmer then transmitted the virus at a military camp in Kansas where he was a cook, waiting to be sent to Europe for the 1914-1918 war.

In one month, around 30 people dead and 1000 cases. The doctor warned Washington of the situation with a dangerous and not ordinary virus. Washington chose to ignore the warning, in order to let the war effort continue.

In April the soldiers from the Kansas camp travelled to New York and sailed to Europe.

They arrive in Brest (France) and go to the front line, where they will spread the virus to all...

By end of May 2018, 20,000 people dead... Then end of August the virus calmed down.

But the virus did mutate... and, again in the USA, in a military camp in New Jersey, the virus hit again...

The doctor asked for confinement but the American colonel refused it and sent the troops again to the front. Except that the virus had muted and was now more contagious and dangerous.

And the celebrations for the end of the war in 1918 are going to help the virus being transmitted in a dramatic manner.

In 1918, 30,000 people dead in Great Britain only...

And the second wave of the virus in 2019 - 2020... between 50 and 100 millions of people dead in the world.

Conclusions of the BBC documentary, realized in 2018:

For the WHO, the most serious threat to mankind nowadays is a pandemic, not a war...

The rate of 3% of people killed in 1918-1919 would today be more around 1%.

The 1918 virus was attacking oxygen in the blood... (like today)

The children were not infected much... (like today)

The masks and staying confined remain the best weapons against the virus.

A pandemic nowadays, if it did let the virus mutate, could kill between 100 and 300 millions people in the world.

Lessons to be learned for a future virus attack - pandemic:

Confining and masks as early as possible, to avoid a mutation of the virus among other things.

And…should we rename the « Spanish flu » of 1918, which killed between 50 and 100 millions people in thee world, the “American flu”?...
