Nounours / Teddy bear

Un petit garcon voyageant avec ses parents de Dallas a La Nouvelle Orleans a oubli son petit nounours en peluche dans l'avion. Il ne quittait jamais son nounours, jour ou nuit... partout avec lui.
Ses parents ont tente en vain de le retrouver en téléphonant partout.
La compagnie Southwest airlines a fini par s’émouvoir de cette perte... tout le monde s'est mis a chercher... sans succès. Alors la compagnie a decide de remplacer le petit nounours, et a pris quelques photos du nouveau nounours avant qu il ne se rende a Dallas pour retrouver le petit garcon (dans la file d'attente, dans la salle d'attente, dans son siege).
Bravo a Southwest Airlines!
Ca nous change des autres histoires du Trumpistan... tout n'est pas pas perdu pour les USA...

A little boy traveling with his parents from Dallas to New Orleans forgot his teddy bear in the plane. He was never without his teddy bear, day or night... always with him.
His parents tried everything to find it again, calling everywhere.
The airline company Southwest airlines got very moved by this story... everyone was trying to find the teddy bear... but no success. So the company decided to replace the teddy bear with a new one, and took a few pictures of the new teddy bear before he travelled to Dallas to rejoin the little boy (in the waiting line, in the waiting room, on his seat).
Bravo to Southwest Airlines!
It changes us from the other stories coming from Trumpistan... everything is not lost for the USA...

Le président du Trumpistan a donné le départ de la course de voitures de Daytona 500 ce Dimanche 16 Février, sous le soleil. 

"Messieurs, démarrez vos moteurs..." selon une formule consacrée.

Puis il a sauté dans sa limousine présidentielle qui a fait un tour d'honneur suivi par toutes les voitures de la course.

Le bon Dieu a alors appris la nouvelle... et s'est mis a pleurer a chaudes larmes... 

Sauf que cette course ne peut se tenir sous la pluie compte tenu de la vitesse des voitures.

Alors la course a été aussitôt arrêtée, après un seul tour de chauffe... le ciel devenant noir...

Ils ont bien essayé de repartir la course au bout d'une heure, mais il s'est remis a pleuvoir... alors la course a finalement été reportée a ce Lundi après midi, pour la premiere fois depuis 2012.

Remarquez que ce scenario va comme un gant a ce president, qui est un spécialiste du court terme, depuis toujours, le soleil quand il parle, et ca se gate après... Il a aussi réussi a faire faillite avec un casino (très difficile...!), il a abandonné tous ses alliés européens, et il ne croit pas au dérèglement climatique (tiens tiens...) qui semble s’être rappelé a son attention ce Dimanche...

Les voies du bon Dieu sont impénétrables... déjà pour cette course? ou a venir pour la course a la présidence américaine en 2020...

The President of Trumpistan gave the start of the Daytona 500 car race on Sunday February 16, under a sunny weather. 

"Gentlemen, start your engines..." per the consecrated formula.

Then he jumped in the Presidential limousine which did a first lap in front of all the racing cars, for the honour and the crowd.

Then God heard about it...... and started to cry out loud... strong tears...

Except that this race cannot happen with some rain as the cars go very fast.

So the race was stopped after only one lap, the sky getting suddenly black...

They did try to re-start the race after an hour or so, but it started raining again... so the race was stopped again and finally postponed until this Monday afternoon, for the first time since 2012.

Mind you, this scenario fits this President very well, a specialist of the short term actions, since... for ever, the sun shines when he speaks, and then... it gets darker... He also managed to declared a bankrupt for his casino (very difficult...!), he abandoned all his European allies, and he does not believe in the climate getting warmer and unpredictable (ha ha...), which apparently was reminded to him this past Sunday...

God works in mysterious ways... indeed for that race? and could be for the American presidential race in 2020...

Virus

Le corona virus 19 a démarré en Chine, et a déjà tué 1000 personnes et infecté plus de 40,000 personnes, a 99% en Chine. L'isolement a grande échelle imposé par les autorités chinoises va bien finir par faire son effet, et on peut espérer une accalmie en Chine d ici un mois et un vaccin d'ici la fin de l’année 2020.
Pour les autres pays, il est a craindre que certains pays vont réagir tardivement et prolonger l’épidémie dans des regions peut-être moins sensibilisées et prêtes que le monde occidental (Inde? Afrique?)
.
Quand au virus de la dictature qui se propage au Trumpistan depuis 2016 (luttant contre la démocratie legislative et mettant en danger une justice indépendante du pouvoir présidentiel), il est beaucoup plus inquiétant et dangereux puisqu'il a déjà infecté des dizaines de millions de personnes aux USA.
Un seul vaccin connu: les élections présidentielles américaines début novembre 2020.

Remarque:
Les USA n'ont jamais signé la convention sur l'interdiction des mines anti-personnel (plus de 100,000 de ces mines américaines utilisées au Moyen Orient dans les dernières 20 années), meme si le president Obama avait promis que sous son mandat ces mines ne seraient utilisées que dans le cas d'une guerre avec la Corée du nord. Mais le Trumpistan a maintenant mis au point de nouvelles mines anti-personnel plus "performantes"... et les militaires cherchent toujours a tester leurs nouveau materiel...
La princesse Diana avait lutté contre l'utilisation de ces mines qui font des milliers de personnes amputées a chaque guerre, la plupart des civils! adultes et enfants.
Plus de 160 pays ont signé cette convention d'Ottawa, mais parmi les 17 pays qui n'ont toujours pas signé cette convention on trouve, aux cotés des Etats Unis: Israel, la Russie, Cuba, l'Iran, la Syrie, l'Egypte, l'Inde et le Pakistan, le Vietnam, les deux Corées  et la Chine.
Donc... trois des 5 membres du Conseil de Sécurité de l'ONU...

The corona virus 19 started in China and has already killed over 1,000 people and found in over 40,000 people, 99% in China. Isolating people on a huge scale has been imposed by the Chinese government and will start showing some results soon, and we can expect a slowing down of the virus in China within another month and a vaccine before the end of the year 2020. 
For other countries, I am afraid that some countries will react bit late and keep the epidemic on the run a bit longer in some places less ready than the western world (India? Africa?)

As for the virus of dictatorship which is spreading in Trumpistan since 2016 (fighting legislative democracy and threatening a judicial system independent from the presidential influence), it is far more worrisome and dangerous since it has already been contacted by dozens of millions of people in the USA.
Only one known vaccine: the American presidential elections early November 2020.

Remark:
The USA have never signed the Ottawa treaty forbidding the use of anti-personnel land mines (over 100,000 such American mines used in the Middle East over the last 20 years), even if the President Obama promised that under his mandate his mines would not be used, except in the case of a war with North Korea. But Trumpistan has mow put out some mew anti-personnel mines, "better performing"... and military people always try to use their new equipment...
Princess Diana did fight against the use of these anti-personnel land mines which take out  an arm or a leg of thousands of people in each war, most of them civilians! adults and children.
Over 160 countries have signed the Ottawa treaty, but among the 17 countries which have never signed it, we find, along the USA: Israel, Russia, Cuba, Iran, Syria, Egypt, India and Pakistan, Vietnam, both Koreas and China.
So... three of the 5 members of the Security Council of the United Nations...

Vendredi 31 Janvier 2020... Un vendredi noir pour le Village...

1. TRUMPISTAN
Les Etats Unis ont confirme ce vendredi dernier leur mutation vers un état du Trumpistan et l'abandon de leur démocratie quand leur sénat a majorité républicaine a refusé de faire paraître des témoins clefs et de demander la communication de nouveaux documents dans le procès de destitution de leur president.
Ce president avait déjà refusé de fournir les documents demandés par la Chambre legislative, et avait refusé de laisser témoigner des témoins clés. La Chambre legislative avait alors decide de ne pas se lancer dans une bataille juridique qui aurait pris plusieurs mois, et avait choisi de demander rapidement sa destitution en faisant confiance au sénat pour se faire communiquer immédiatement les documents et ordonner aux témoins de comparaître.
De plus de nouveaux documents et de nouveau témoins ont surgi depuis la fin décembre 2019!
Et on nage en plein délire quand on entend la défense finalement convenir que ce president a pu demander a une nation étrangère d enquêter sur son concurrent a sa reelection et a retenu une aide financière et militaire plusieurs mois en échange de cette enquête... qu'il n'a pas pu obtenir quand le pot aux roses a été découvert et exposé par une source anonyme. Mais... la defense a soutenu qu'il n'y avait pas la de quoi destituer un president... car il y allait de "l’intérêt supérieur des Etats Unis que ce president reste en place"... alors que ce délit est expressément couvert par la constitution américaine.
Le dictateur du Trumpistan a maintenant les mains libres pour demander a tous les pays de l'aider a attaquer ses concurrents a sa reelection.
Au revoir la démocratie américaine...
La parole est aux électeurs américains debut novembre 2020, en dernier recours pour un retour des Etats Unis a la démocratie.

2. BREXIT
La Grande Bretagne a quitte officiellement ce Vendredi dernier l'Europe.
En fait il faudrait dire l'Angleterre... ANGLEXIT... car l'Ecosse va re-demander un referendum pour devenir un état indépendant qui se joindrait a l'Europe.
Au revoir l'Angleterre...
Une fois que l’Irlande du Nord aura rejoint l'Irlande, il restera alors le pays de Galles avec l'Angleterre, pour une "petite Bretagne", en attendant que l'Angleterre realise son interet et le peu de soutien du Trumpistan et retourne a l'Europe.

3. PALESTINE
Le president du Trumpistan a également annoncé cette semaine son plan de paix pour la Palestine et Israel. Je resume...
Israel garde toutes ses colonies grignotées illégalement depuis 70 ans, Jerusalem sera reconnue comme la capitale indivisible d'Israel, et on promet un état aux palestiniens... comme promis en 1947, il y a 73 ans... alors que Israel et la Palestine avait reçu un meme acte de naissance pour deux frères jumeaux dans lequel Jerusalem était déclarée ville internationale.
Les palestiniens et la Ligue Arabe ont déjà refuse ce plan. Tout comme l'Iran et la Turquie.
La seule solution de paix est pourtant simple... lisez mon livre "Le Ciel et la Terre"... un seul état démocratique, pour Israel, Palestine et Jordanie, avec 5 ou 6 provinces qui auraient des pouvoirs similaires a ceux des états américains ou des provinces et territoires canadiens, et une seule capitale Jerusalem. Et avec une présidence tournante pour cet état ainsi que pour le maire de Jerusalem. Mais les memes droits et la meme justice pour tous les citoyens. Ce que l'extreme droite israélienne n'accepte pas.

BONNES NOUVELLES...
Mais cette fin de semaine nous a quand meme apporté trois bonnes nouvelles...
- Le pape Francois a décidé de convertir un palais du 19ème siècle proche du Vatican pour abriter les personnes sans abris de Rome.
- Le pape Francois va preciser que la non obligation de célibat qui est en cours de promulgation pour les prêtres d’Amazonie ne pourra pas être refusée aux prêtres de tous les autres pays... ceux qui le voudront bien sur.
- Des docteurs thaïlandais ont réussi a guérir 8 personnes atteintes du nouveau coronavirus, grace un melange de médicaments utilisés pour la grippe et pour le Sida. Les médecins chinois expérimentent également.

Friday January 31, 2020... A Black Friday for the Village...

1. TRUMPISTAN
The United States have confirmed this past Friday their mutation into the Trumpistan et the abandon of their democracy hen the Senate (Majority held by the Republican party) has refused to call for witnesses and communication of documents in the trial for removing their President.
This President had already refused to communicate the documents requested by the Legislative Chamber and had refused to let some key witnesses testify. The Legislative House had then decided that instead of fighting with lawyers, which would have taken months and months, they would call quickly for the dismissal of this President through a trial, trusting the Senate for calling immediately for the documents to be shown and the witnesses to testify.
Further more, new documents and key witnesses have appeared since December 2019!
And we must dreaming when we hear the defense layers finally agree that this President might indeed have called for a foreign nation to help him inquire into an opponent to his re-election and having suspended the financial and military aid until this inquiry... inquiry which he finally could not get when his scheme was disclosed by a secret witness. But... the defense lawyers argued that there was not here matter for dismissing the President... as it was the "supreme interest of the United States not to remove this President"... while this doing is expressly covered in the American Constitution.
The dictator of Trumpistan will now feel free to ask all countries to help him attack his opponents to hs re-election.
Bye bye American democracy...
The decision is now in the hands of the American voters early November 2020, ass a last attempt for the United States to come back to democracy.

2. BREXIT
Great Britain has officially quit being part of Europe this past Friday.
In fact we should say England... ENGLEXIT... as Scotland is going to re-ask a referendum to become an independent country and join Europe.
Bye bye and see you later England...
Once Northern Ireland joined Ireland, it will only remain Wales with England, for a "small Britain", until England realizes what is its interest and the lack of support from Trumpistan, and comes back to Europe.

3. PALESTINE
The President of Trumpistan has also announced this past week his "peace plan" for Palestine and Israel. In summary...
Israel keeps all its colonies, slowly advanced one by one, illegally over the past 70 years, Jerusalem will recognised as the unified capital of Israel, and a State is promised to the Palestinians... as it was promised in 1947, 73 years ago... when Israel and Palestine did receive their common birth certificate for two twin brothers, with Jerusalem becoming an international city.
The Palestinians and the Arab League have rejected the plan already. Just like Iran and Turkey.
The only solution for peace is simple though... read my book "Le Ciel et la Terre"... one single democratic country, for Israel, Palestine and Jordan, with 5 or 6 provinces which would have power similar to the power of the States in the United States or the Provinces and Territories in Canada, and one single capital Jerusalem. With a rotating presidency for this country, as well as for the mayor of Jerusalem. But the same rights and the same Justice for all the citizens. Which is not accepted by the extreme right in Israel.

GOOD NEWS...
But this past week end also brought three good news finally...
- Pope Francis has decided to transform a rich 19th century palace near the Vatican into... a home for the homeless of Rome.
- Pope Francis is going to make public that the fact that priests in the Amazon region will be able to get married (if they want to) as to be announced very shortly, cannot be refused to all the priests in the Village, who will also be able to get married... if they ant to of course.
- Doctors in Thailand have successfully cured 8 people from the coronavirus, thanks to a mix of médecines used for the flu and for the HIV. The Chinese doctors are also experimenting.
