Au Quebec, le Parti Quebecois au pouvoir avait demande une election anticipee pour les deputes ce lundi... mais les electeurs leur ont inflige une cuisante defaite. Trois erreurs du parti au pouvoir...
1. Une proposition de charte de la Laicite alors qu'aucun incident religieux n'avait jamais ete rapporte. Clairement une manoeuve electoraliste, inutile, a un mauvais moment, qui ne faisait pas honneur a ceux qui l'ont prepare, et qui n'a pas trompe les electeurs. Si quelque chose n'est pas casse, ne le reparez pas...
2. Une tromperie en declarant que la separation du Quebec n'etait pas une priorite et pas le sujet de cette election. Quand on renie sa raison d'etre, il faut s'attendre a un retour de baton de ses partisans (qui ont prefere voter pour Quebec Solidaire) et a une reaction des autres electeurs qui n'aiment pas etre pris pour plus betes qu ils ne seraient eventuellement...
3. Une presentation de leur premier budget apres 18 mois au pouvoir un mois avant les elections, demontrant un manque de professionalisme et de rigueur. Meme les Etats Unis travaillent avec un budget... revise tous les 3 mois...
Amateurisme, objectifs caches, politique politicienne au mauvais moment... ca faisait beaucoup...
Au revoir Mme Marois, et... bienvenue a tous les canadiens qui vont revenir au Quebec... La Belle Province...!

In Quebec, the Parti Quebecois in power called for an election of the representatives at the Legislative Assembly for this past Monday, but the electors sent them back with a burning slap. Three mistakes by the party in power...
1. A proposal for a Charter of Secularism while no religious incident had ever been reported. Clearly an electoral maneuver, not called for, useless, at the wrong time, which does not look good for those who prepared it, and which did not fool the electors. If it ain't broken, don't fix it!
2. Trying to fool the electors by saying that the separation of Quebec from Canada was not a priority and not the subject of this election. When one lets down its priority and reason to exist, one can expect some backlash from its fans (who preferred voting for Quebec Solidaire) and some reaction from the other voters who do not appreciate being taken for more stupid than they might eventually be...
3. A presentation of the first budget after 18 months in power, one month before the elections, demonstrating a lack of professionalism and rigor. Even the USA work with a budget... revised every 3 months...
Unprofessional, hidden objectives, political games at low levels... that was a lot...
Goodbye Mrs Marois, and... welcome to all the Canadians who are going to come back to Quebec, La Belle Province...!

La semaine derniere, Israel n'a pas relache un contingent de prisoniers palestiniens comme promis, et donc les autorites palestiniennes ont decide de rejoindre plus de 15 organisations internationales, mais pas (encore) la Cour Internationale de Justice de La Haye, ou ils pourraient deja des demain poursuivre Israel sur plusieurs sujets comme l'occupation illegale de la bande de Gaza.
Bien sur Israel a immédiatement annonce que "suite aux decisions de l’autorité palestinienne", ils ne relâcheraient pas les prisonniers palestiniens. Un jeu de poule et d’œuf... qui n’impressionne plus la communauté internationale, consciente que les deux parties gardent leurs objectifs secrets.
Sauf que depuis un ou deux ans, le temps et l'opinion publique ne sont plus en faveur d'Israel a mon avis, le dernier exemple étant l'embargo economique decide par l'Europe contre les produits israéliens fabriques dans des usines installées dans des territoires palestiniens occupes.
Et l'echange de tirs hier entre des terroristes palestiniens et les militaires israeliens n'impressione plus personne, ras le bol des freres ennemis, et des extremistes des deux cotes...

Last week, Israel did not release a batch of Palestinian prisoners as promised, so the Palestinian authority has decided to join over 15 international organisations, but not (yet) the International Court of Justice of The Hague, where they could already tomorrow pursue Israel for many items like illegal occupation of the Gaza strip for instance.
Of course Israel immediately announced that "following the decision of the Palestinian authority", they would not release Palestinian prisoners. A game of chicken and eggs... which does not impress the international community any more, conscious that both parties keep their hidden objective. Except that since a couple of years, time and public opinion are running against Israel in my opinion, the latest example being the European commercial embargo on Israel products made on factories installed on occupied Palestinian territories.
And yesterday the exchange of rockets between Palestinian terrorists and Israel military does not impress anyone anymore, enough of the two brothers, sworn enemies, with extremists on both sides...

Je viens juste de revenir d'une semaine a Cuba...
- Il y avait plusieurs personnes russes dans les hotels a La Havane et a Varadeiro. Des touristes pour sur, et peut-être quelques hommes d'affaires... Je n'ai pas vérifié dans quelles affaires...
- Les canons a l'hotel Nacional sont toujours la, ceux qui ont servi a bombarder les bateaux américains au 19ème siècle...
- La place de la Révolution est toujours populaire avec les touristes, et les deux portraits géants du Che (argentin de naissance... comme le pape Francois...) rapellent a tous qu'il a été un homme clé pour la revolution qui a mis dehors de Cuba le président Batista et la mafia américaine qui avaient fait de Cuba une terre de rêve pour les casinos, les prostituées, les cigares et le rhum pour les Américains. Tandis que Fidel et Raul Castro libéraient la baie de Guantanamo et ses environs, le Che s'est enfoncé dans Cuba pour rassembler les paysans.
- Les vieux (plus de 70 et 80 ans) musiciens du Buena Vista Social club sont toujours la et chantent, incroyable, allez vite les écouter! et n'hésitez pas a danser...
- Les recettes du Mojito, du Cuba libre, du Pina Colada, du Daiquiri n'ont pas changées... et un ou deux ou trois par jour (de chaque) éloignent le docteur... J'ai essayé... ca marche.
- J'ai changé d'avis sur l'embargo américain de Cuba, surtout l'interdiction de voyager la-bas pour les américains...
Mr Obama (et vos successeurs), gardez l'embargo... merci de garder les Mac Donald, Starbucks, Kentucky Fried Chicken et autres restaurations rapides américaines hors de Cuba... pour que nous autres canadiens (et européens) puissions apprécier la vie cubaine pour les siècles qui viennent...
PS: Ola Raul... pourquoi ne pas libérer tous les prisonniers politiques et autoriser tous les partis politiques... comme en Chine... sous leur prochain president...

- The Revolution Plaza is still a big hit for tourists, and the two giant portraits of the Che (born Argentinian... like the Pope Francis...) remind everyone that he was key to the revolution which kicked out of Cuba the President Batista and the American mafia which had turned Cuba into their dream land of casinos, prostitutes, cigars and rhum for the Americans. While Fidel and Raul Castro liberated Guantanamo bay and its surroundings, the Che went deep into Cuba to gather the peasants.
- The old men (over 70 and 80) of the Buena Vista Social club are still alive and singing, unbelievable, go and listen to them quickly! and go on the dance floor...
- The recipes for the Mojito, the Cuba libre, the Pina Colada, the Daiquiri have not changed... and one a day (of each) or two or three keep the doctor away... I tested it... it is true.
- I changed my mind regarding the Americans' embargo on Cuba, mainly the interdiction of traveling there for the Americans...
Mr Obama (and your successors), keep the embargo... please keep Mac Donald, Starbucks, Kentucky Fried Chicken and other American fast foods and all the American people away from Cuba... so we Canadians (and Europeans) can enjoy the Cuban way of life for the next centuries...
PS: Ola Raul... why not free all the political prisoners, and authorize all the political parties... like in China... under their next President...
