A la ferme / At the farm

En France, depuis le 1 Juillet, tous les conducteurs doivent avoir a bord de leur voiture un test d'alcoolémie, de manière a pouvoir l'utiliser si ils ont un doute... Si ils ont trop bu, bien sur ils oublieront sans doute de l'utiliser... Les conducteurs de camion ont la même obligation. Un demi-litre de rouge ou de bière belge forte pour le repas de midi dans un des nombreux restaurants "Routiers" des petites routes de France, et il vaudrait mieux faire le test avant de prendre le volant.

Les conducteurs de tracteurs ont la meme obligation. Ah bon... C'est vrai que beaucoup de conducteurs de tracteurs empruntent une route goudronnée pour se rendre a leurs champs, tous les français en rencontrent au moins un par mois pendant la saison des semis et des récoltes.

Et les fermiers conducteurs de charrue? faut quand même tirer des sillons droits... avant et après la pause de midi a la ferme... avec ou sans la fermière...

In France, since July 1st, all the drivers must have in their car an alcool test, so they can use it if they have a doubt...
Mind you, if they have drunk too much, chances are that they will forget to use it...
The truck drivers have the same obligation. Half a liter (a pint) of red wine or of strong Belgian beer at the lunch break in one of the numerous restaurants "Routiers" along the French roads, and they better pass the test before they drive.

The drivers of tractors have the same obligation. Oh well... It is true that many tractors drivers drive on an asphalt road to get to their fields, all the Frenchmen are going to meet one of them at least once a month when it is the season of planting.

How about the farmers driving ploughs? they have to make their furrows straight... before or after the lunch break... with or without the farmer's wife...
