Depuis plusieurs années, les Nations Unies
essayent de trouver un accord sur la vente d'armes a des pays / régions du
Village ou les droits humanitaires élémentaires ne sont pas respectés. Depuis
plusieurs semaines les négociations entre tous les pays et les organisations
non gouvernementales invitées allaient bon train, et un vote avait été annoncé
pour Vendredi dernier, le 27 Juillet.
Toute la journée de Jeudi le texte du
traité a été négocié sur encore quelques détails, par exemple les armes anti-aériennes...
Et Vendredi matin... la délégation
américaine a annoncé qu'elle n'avait pas reçu de consigne de vote de la Maison
Blanche et du gouvernement de Mr Obama, et demandait donc un report du vote en
2013... La proposition des Etats Unis a aussitôt été appuyée par la Russie et
la Chine.
Ces trois pays sont les plus gros vendeurs
d'armes dans le Village. Vous pensiez vraiment qu'ils allaient éliminer une
bonne partie de leurs clients...?
Je me demande quelle forme prendra la
révolution dans le Village quand suffisamment de gens seront fatigués des manœuvres
de leurs politiciens et du non respect de leur volonté de paix? surtout que, a
bien y penser, cette révolution se fera sans doute dans le monde occidental dit
"civilisé"...
Over the last few
years, the United Nations are trying to find an agreement on the sales of
weapons to countries / regions in the Village where the basic elementary human
rights are not respected. Over the last few weeks, negotiations between all the
countries and the non-government organisations which had been invited were
progressing nicely, and a vote had been scheduled for last Friday, July 27. All
day Thursday the text of the treaty had been negotiated over some last details,
for instance the sale of anti-aircraft weapons...
And Friday morning... the
American delegation announced that it had not received any instructions for the
vote from the White House and the government of Mr Obama, so they asked for a
report of the vote until 2013... The American proposal was immediately seconded
by Russia and China. These three countries are the biggest weapons producers
and dealers. You really thought that they were going to eliminate a good part
of their clients...?
I am just wondering
what shape the revolution will take in the Village, when enough people will be
tired of the games played by their politicians and the non-respect of their
willingness to get Peace? and think of it, this revolution will probably happen
in the western world, so-called "civilized"...
