Garde republicaine francaise / French Republican guards

En France, la garde républicaine (a cheval) est un corps d'apparat qui officie dans les manifestations officielles ou se produit le Président de la République: fête nationale du 14 juillet, fête du souvenir du 11 novembre, et... bon, on va dire... fête de la musique? non... alors... fête de la Pentecôte, de l'Achoura ou des Cabanes? non, ce sont des fêtes religieuses, restons laïques...

Donc... on va dire qu'ils paradent au moins deux fois par an, plus pour une haie d'honneur quand les chefs d'état étrangers viennent a l'Elysée. Donc deux fois par an, il en faut 200 ou 300, avec leurs chevaux et leurs beaux habits, et on va dire deux fois par mois il en faut une cinquantaine... Chacun d'eux coute environ 100,000 Euros par an a l'Etat, avec son cheval et son uniforme.

La question a été posée aux Français s'ils étaient d'accord pour réduire les frais de cette garde républicaine, a 100,000 Euros par cavalier. La majorité des français a répondu que la France étant un grand pays de traditions, ils étaient d'accord pour garder ces gardes républicains a 100,000 Euros chaque...

Evidemment si vous posez la mauvaise question, vous ne risquez pas de recevoir la bonne réponse... 100,000 Euros pour le cheval, son cavalier, etc... pourquoi pas. Mais près de 2,500 gardes républicains... ca fait beaucoup non?!

Je propose de commencer par couper les effectifs en deux des 2013.

Et a terme de les descendre au nombre qui défile le 14 juillet, plus 50% pour les malades, je parle des hommes et aussi des chevaux bien sur... vu que apparemment le syndicat des gardes républicains ou le syndicat des chevaux... insisterait pour que chaque garde ne monte que le cheval qui lui a été attribué en début d'année...

Question was asked to the French people to know if they wanted to see the expense of the Republican guards at 100,000 Euros each, reduced. A majority of the Frenchmen answered that France is a big country, so they did not mind to keep these Republican guards at 100,000 Euros each,,,

Of course if you ask the wrong question, you will probably not get the right answer...

100,000 Euros per horse with its rider, etc... why not. But around 2,500 Republican guards... sounds like a bit too much, no?!
I propose to start by cutting in half the number of guards as soon as 2013. And in the short term they should not need more than the number of those who parade on July 14th, plus 50% in case of sick ones, I am talking about the men and the horses of course, as the union of the Republican guards or the horses' union... apparently insists that each guard only rides the horse he was given at the beginning of the year...
