Mourir a l'hopital / Dying in the hospital

Le Daily Telegraph de Londres (Angleterre) a publié un article qui affirme que les patients ont 45% plus de chances de mourir dans un hôpital anglais que s'ils étaient dans un hôpital américain.
Ce qu'ils n'ont pas dit:
- Les hopitals américains sont 3 a 10 fois plus chers que les hôpitaux Anglais ou français (10,000 USD contre 1,500 EUR pour une operation urgente pour mon épouse...).

- Les hopitals américains ne vous admettront pas si vous n'avez pas le cash en entrant ou une carte de crédit avec une limite suffisante ou une très bonne assurance santé, donc disons que 45% des habitants aux Etats Unis n'ont pas accès aux hôpitaux, les gens les plus malades je suppose, ceux qui auraient noirci les statistiques...

Alors... c'est quoi la conclusion chiffrée maintenant pour un anglais malade versus un americain malade...?

What they did not say...
- US hospitals are 3 to 10 times more expensive than English or French hospitals (10,000 USD vs 1500 EUR for an urgent operation for my wife 10 years ago).

- US hospitals will not admit you if you do not have cash upfront or a credit card with sufficient limit or a solid health insurance coverage, so let's say that 45% of people in the USA do not have access to hospitals... I guess the more sick... those who would have lowered the statistics...

So... what is the add-up now for a sick English citizen versus a sick American citizen...?

45% of the Americans are more likely to die because of refusal of admission to the Hospital than the English people...?
