Si vos champs ne reçoivent pas d’eau,
ils vont se dégrader et devenir des déserts. Et la majorité des habitants de
ces champs deviendront de plus en plus pauvres et ne pourront pas être en paix
et heureux, trop préoccupés de leur lendemain, oubliez le mois prochain.
Bien sur planter des arbres ou des
plantes habituées aux conditions désertiques, construire des barrages et allez
chercher d’autres sources d’eau (sous-sol ou océans) sont en cours surtout en
Afrique et en Asie, pour essayer de renverser la tendance dans le Village.
Il y a environ 6 milliards de gens
sur la Terre (10% de la population représente 600 million de personnes !).
Savez-vous combien de personnes au Village souffrent des effets de la
désertification et de la dégradation des champs (conclusions d’un rapport des Nations Unies)?
La réponse commence par le chiffre 2…
Et finit avec
le mot «milliard ».
Alors, s’il vous plait, dégustez lentement votre prochain
verre d’eau potable... (si vous en aurez un bien sur, en cette fin de semaine de la St Patrick...!)

If your fields receive no water, they will eventually become
deserts. And the majority of the people living in these degrading fields will
become poorer and will not be find peace and happiness, worrying about tomorrow,
forget next month.
Of course planting trees or plants used to desert conditions,
building river dams and finding more water sources (underground or from the
sea) is underway mostly in Africa and Asia, to try reversing the trend in the
Village. There are around 6 billion people in the world (so 10% of the
population represent around 600 million people...).
Do you know how many people in the Village are suffering from the
effects of the growing desertification and degradation of the fields in the Village?
The answer starts with the number 2…
And ends with the word “billion”.
So
please… enjoy slowly your next glass of potable water... (if you get any of course during this week end, of St Patrick...!)
