La visite du président américain en Europe a conduit la femme forte de l’Europe, la chancelière allemande, a donner son interprétation des resultats des rencontres.
Les Etats Unis de ce président ne sont plus le leader en qui l'Europe pouvait avoir confiance a 100%.

La seule priorité de Mr Trump est, clairement affichée: les seuls intérêts (a court terme) des Etats Unis! (il oublie d'ajouter y compris ses intérêts personnels...). Oubliez le reste du monde.
Pour l'Europe, le monde est un village, ce a quoi je crois (voir titre du blog!).
Pour Mr Trump, il y a les américains d'un coté, et le reste du monde de l'autre coté. Et un mur entre les deux.

- Oubliez la priorité de l'OTAN pour une défense atlantique commune a tout prix. Le rappel du président américain sur les arriérés des paiements d'une majorité de pays n'a été qu'un prétexte pour son refus de s'engager plus avant.
- Oubliez une position commune de l'Europe et des Etats Unis sur la Russie. En supposant que Mr Trump puisse sortir indemne des enquêtes sur ses liens avec la Russie avant son élection (ses liens ou ceux de sa famille), il préférera privilégier ses affaires en Russie et ceux de sa famille, et laisser la Russie s'occuper du Moyen Orient, maintenant que les Etats Unis ont moins besoin de ce pétrole. Mais il continuera quand même a soutenir Israël et a critiquer l'Iran, sous pression du lobby israélien a Washington et les avis de son gendre.
- Oubliez les accords de Paris sur le climat et le réchauffement du Village.
- Oubliez les efforts pour ne pas commencer une guerre de tarifs douaniers.
La Chine en profite déjà pour renforcer sa nouvelle politique commerciale axée sur la route de la soie. De toute facon ils sont déjà en Afrique et en Amérique du sud... Et ils ont déjà commencé a tisser des liens forts avec le Canada. Et tout ca sans faire de bruit.
- Oubliez en fait la confiance dans les accords conclus avec les gouvernements américains précédents.
- Quand a la visite avec le Pape, declaree un succes par Mr Trump, notons que le Pape Francois lui a remis une copie manuscrite de son encyclique sur l'environnement... et lui a dit que le mur avec le Mexique n'etait pas tres chretien. Il y a mieux comme succes!

La chancelière allemande a évoqué également le Brexit, la sortie de l'Angleterre de l'Europe, pour conclure qu'il était grand temps que l'Europe prenne sa destinée en main, tout en restant amie avec les USA, l'Angleterre et la Russie.
Je suis d'accord. Notez bien aussi que dans cette Europe sans la Grande Bretagne et sans l'appui inconditionnel des Etats Unis, il n'y a plus qu'une puissance nucléaire... la France.
Alors attendez vous a une augmentation des dépenses militaires européennes, pas pour renforcer l'OTAN, mais plutôt pour structurer d'urgence une force europeene militaire indépendante. Je prédis un essai nucléaire français dans les 2 ans qui viennent.
Quand j'y pense... le grand Charles avait encore raison, il y a 50 ans et plus, quand il a créé l'Europe avec le chancelier allemand Adenauer, puis quand il a sorti la France de l'OTAN, car il ne faisait pas confiance aux Etats Unis et a l'Angleterre pour un support a long terme de l'Europe. Même si la sortie de l’Europe de l'Angleterre n'est due qu'a une politique inexistante de l'Europe sur un contrôle minimum aux frontières. Clarifiez le contrôle des immigrés en Europe, et l'Angleterre pourrait revenir?

Faites vos jeux, et attachez vos ceinture, rien ne va plus... les deux ou trois années a venir vont être passionnantes... et mouvementées... aux quatre coins du Village.

The visit of the American President in Europe has led the strong woman leader in EUrope, the German chancellor, to give her interpretation of the results of the meetings.
The USA of this President are not any more the leader whom Europe was trusting 100%

The only priority of Mr Trump is, as he clearly stated: the only interests (short term) of the USA! (he forgot to add including his own personnel interests). Forget the rest of the world.
For Europe, the world is a village, which I believe in (see title of this blog!).
For Mr Trump, there are the Americans on one side, and the rest of the world on the other side, with a wall in between...

- Forget the priority of NATO for an Atlantic common defense at all cost. The mention by the American President of the balance due by many countries is only a smoke screen to refuse to commit to the long term priority.
- Forget a common stance of Europe and the USA against Russia. Let's assume that Mr Trump could get away with the inquiries on his ties with Russia before his election (his or his family members) ties), he will choose his businesses in Russia and those of his family, and let Russia take care of the Middle East, now that the USA don't meed its petroleum anymore. But he will still though support Israel and criticize Iran, under pressure by the American pro-Israel lobby in Washington and the advice of his son-in-law.
- Forget the Paris agreement on climate and the warming up of the Village.
- Forget the efforts not to start a war on the free exchange of goods. 
China is already taking the opportunity to reinforce its policy of the New Silk Road. Mind you they are already in Africa and in South America... And they have started to promote strong ties with Canada. And all that without much noise.
- Forget in fact the trust in all agreements made with the past American governments.
- As for the visit with the Pope, declared a success by Mr Trump, lets note that Pope Francis offered him a handwritten copy of his encyclical on the Environment... and told him that the wall with Mexico was not Christian. I can think of better signs of success!

The German Chancellor also reminded the Brexit, the exit of England from Europe, to give her conclusion that it was about time that Europe take its destiny in its own hands, while remaining friend with the USA, England and Russia.
I agree. Mind you, in this Europe without the USA and England, the only nuclear power left is... France.
So be ready for an increase in the military spending of European countries, not to reinforce NATO, but to organize urgently an independent European military force. I predict a French nuclear test within 2 years.
Thinking about it... the big Charles was right again, 50 years ago, when he started the European Union with the German Chancellor Adenauer, and then when he got France out of NATO, because he did not trust the USA and England for a long term commitment to Europe. Even if the exit of England from Europe is only due to the non existing European politics with immigration and a minimum control of the borders. Clear up the control of the migrants, and England might be back in Europe?

Place your bets, attach your safety belts, here we go... the two or three years to come should be exciting... and eventful... in the four corners of the Village.
