CUBA
En 1961, 1,400 cubains envahissent l'Ile de Cuba avec l'aide de la CIA américaine pour renverser Castro. L'operation échoua.
En mai 1962 la Russie envoie 50,000 soldats russes, 31 missiles et 4 sous marins a Cuba pour... les aider a se défendre contre une nouvelle attaque des USA.
La distance a vol d'oiseau entre Cuba et les USA est de 144 kms (en gros de Montreal a Sherbrooke, ou encore du chateau de Versailles au sud de la foret de Fontainebleau en region parisienne)
En Octobre 1962, les USA (John Kennedy) exigent le retrait des missiles, et l'obtiennent, ainsi que le retrait des troupes russes... MAIS en échange les USA enlèvent des missiles en Turquie (1800 kms de la frontière russe) et en Italie (2200 kms de la frontière russe).
TAIWAN
La distance a vol d'oiseau entre Taiwan et la Chine continentale est de 190 kms (de l'Est de Montreal a l'Ouest de Ottawa). 400 missiles américains et autres matériels militaires ont été fournis a Taiwan ces dernières années pour... les aider a se défendre.
COREE du SUD
La distance a vol d'oiseau entre la Corée du sud et la Chine est de 400 kms.
En 2021 Joe Biden a annoncé que désormais la Corée du sud était autorisée a développer et a tester des missiles longue portée (plus de 1,000 kms), ce qui en fait était déjà fait.
Les USA ont actuellement près de 30,000 soldats en Corée du sud.
UKRAINE
La distance entre l'Ukraine et la Russie est de... 0 kms.
La Russie demande que l'OTAN et les USA s'engagent a ne jamais installer de missiles en Ukraine... mais refus a date de s'engager sur ce point de la part des USA et des Européens. L'Ukraine ne fait pas partie de l'Europe ou de l'OTAN. Elle pourrait pourtant devenir une Suisse ou une Autriche, pays neutre, démilitarisé...?
En Octobre 2022, en pleine année du Tigre, ce sera les 60 ans de la crise des missiles a Cuba. Feux d'artifice a prévoir?... a un mois des elections partielles américaines au Congrès... John Kennedy n'est plus la...

In October 1962, the USA (John Kennedy) demanded an immediate dismantling of the missiles, and did get it, as well as the departure of the Russian troops... BUT in exchange the USA took out missiles from Turkey (1800 kms to the Russian border) and from Italy (2200 kms to the Russian border).
TAIWAN
Shortest distance between Taiwan and China mainland is 190 kms (from Montreal east to Ottawa West). 400 American missiles and other military equipment were supplied to Taiwan these last few years to... help them defend themselves.
SOUTH KOREA
Shortest distance between South Korea and China is 400 kms.
In 2021 Joe Biden announced that, from now on, South Korea was authorized to develop and test long range missiles (over 1,000 kms), which was in fact already enacted.
The USA presently maintain close to 30,000 military personnel in South Korea.
UKRAINE
Shortest distance between Ukraine and Russia is... 0 kms.
Russia is asking that NATO and the USA commit to never install missiles in Ukraine... but no agreement to such a commitment by the USA or the Europeans so far. Ukraine is not part of the European Union or of NATO. It could become a neutral country like Austria, or Switzerland, with no military...?
In October 2022, in the middle of the year of the Tiger, it will be the 60th anniversary of the crisis of the missiles in Cuba. Fireworks to come?... one month before the American voting to renew part of their Congress... John Kennedy is not here any more...
