Le candidat républicain a l'élection présidentielle américaine, Mr Mitt Romney, a évoqué un souvenir de son enfance qui, après vérification des journalistes, s'est en fait passé le 1 Juin 1946... 9 mois... et 12 jours avant sa naissance... Les partisans de l'interdiction de l'avortement vont certainement voter en masse pour lui dans tous les états, puisqu'il leur apporte la preuve que le fétus est bien un être vivant dès le premier jour de sa conception... 

On comprend mieux pourquoi il avait déclaré que ce souvenir était quand même un peu brumeux... C'est peut-etre tout son cerveau qui est brumeux...

The Republican candidate for the American presidential election, Mr Mitt Romney, has talked about one of his child memories which, after verification by the media, happened in fact on June 1, 1946... 9 months... and 12 days before his birth... The people against abortion are certainly going to vote for him by millions, in all the States, as he is bringing the proof that a fetus is indeed a live person from the very first day of his conception... 

And we understand better why he had said that this souvenir was kind of hazy... Maybe it is all his brain which is hazy... 

* Religions obligatoires / Mandatory religions

La Cour Suprême du Canada a rejeté l'appel d'une famille du Québec qui ne voulait pas que leurs enfants suivent le cours obligatoire sur les religions et les cultures, en classes primaires et secondaires. Le cours présente brièvement les différentes religions au Canada, pour montrer aux enfants la diversité des religions. Les parents s'étaient plaints que certaines présentations allaient contre leurs propres croyances religieuses... 

Cette présentation des différentes religions dans le Village devrait être obligatoire dans toutes les écoles du Village, y compris... surtout... dans les écoles dites religieuses. Et ceci est valable bien sur pour les écoles chrétiennes, juives et musulmanes.

The Supreme court of Canada has rejected the appeal of a family in Quebec who did not want their children to attend a mandatory course on religions and cultures, in elementary / secondary school. The course is presenting briefly the various main religions in Canada, to expose the students to the diversity of them. The parents had argued that some of the presentations were going against their own religious beliefs... This presentation of the various religions in the Village should be mandatory in all schools of the Village, including... mainly... in any so-called religious schools. And this goes of course for Christian, Jewish and Muslim schools.

** Compétitivité / Competitivity

.Pour devenir plus compétitives, les entreprises se donnent souvent pour objectif de réduire le cout du personnel humain. Admettons... mais il y a plusieurs types d'action possibles liées au cout de la main d'oeuvre dans une entreprise:

1                    Réduire le nombre de personnes employées ou les salaires des employés qui ne sont pas cadres ou dirigeants.

2                    Discuter avec les syndicats pour améliorer la productivité et la formation.

3                    Obtenir des conditions plus avantageuses de l'Etat pour les impots a payer ou les nouvelles embauches.

4                    Indexer les impots payés par une société au nombre de ses employés. Une entreprise qui gagne un million avec deux employés devrait payer plus d'impots qu'une entreprise qui employe 10 personnes.

5                    Réduire les revenus des dirigeants de 10% ou plus jusqu'a ce que le revenu le plus haut (tout compris...) ne soit pas plus de 40 fois le revenu minimum dans cette entrepsie. C'est plus ou moins ce que demandent actuellement les créanciers a la Grèce, et c'est ce qu'avait fait unilatéralement il y a dix ans une compagnie mexicaine qui avait pris le controle d'une compagnie espagnole, avec effet immédiat le lendemain de l'achat, libre au personnel recalcitrant de quitter le navire.

Mais je recommande que l'action numéro 1 ci-dessus ne soit autorisée que lorsque les quatre autres actions auront été mises en place...

In order to become more competitive, the companies often look at reducing the cost of the human workforce... why not, but there are different ways to reduce this cost in a company:

1                    Reduce the number of the people in the workforce or the salary of the workers, not including managers...

2                    Negotiate with the syndicates to improve the productibity and the formation.

3                    Obtain better conditions from the government for the taxes to be paid or the hiring of new employees.

4                    Index the taxes paid by a company to the number of people employed. A company that makes a profit of 1 million with 2 employees should pay more taxes than a company with the same results but having 10 workers.

5                    Reduce the income of the managers by 10% or more until the highest revenu (all inclusive...) is no more than 40 times the minimum income in any given company. That is by the way one of the things asked from Greece, and it it is also what was done 10 years ago by a mexican company immediately after they bought a subsidiary in Spain, with effect the day after they became the owner, with everyone in disagreement free to leave the company.

But I recommend that the action number 1 above only be used after the other four measures above have been put in place...

Airbus Boeing Bombardier

L'avion Airbus A380 a connu récemment des craques sur les ailes de plusieurs avions.
Les ingénieurs s'interrogent sur l'origine de ces craques. Cela me rapelle une vieille histoire...
Des ingénieurs sont rassemblés tard le soir autour d'une planche a dessin pour tenter de
comprendre le même problème. Arrive la femme de ménage.
- Qu'est-ce que vous faites ici encore a cette heure...?
Ils lui expliquent brièvement le problème, avec un sourire amusé... une femme de ménage...
- Moi a votre place, je mettrais une léger trait pointillé sur l'aile a l'endroit de la craque, la...
Et elle montre du doigt sur le plan...!
A court de solution, le directeur de l'ingénierie décide de faire un essai sur un avion.
Miracle... cela marche.
Il interroge la femme de ménage
- Mais... comment expliquez-vous cela, et comment avez-vous trouvé cela?
- Comment ca marche, je sais pas, mais... vous avez déjà vu, vous, du papier toilettes qui se déchire a l'endroit du pointillé...?

Merci de ne pas faire suivre aux ingénieurs d'Airbus, de Boeing ou de Bombardier...

The plane Airbus A380 has recently experienced cracks on the wings of some planes.
The engineers are looking for an explanation. This reminds me an old joke...
Some engineers are gathered late at night to try understanding the same problem. Here
comes the cleaning lady.
- What are you doing here this late at night...?
They explain briefly the problem to her, with a smile... a cleaning lady....
- Well, if I were you, I would put a light dashed line on the wing where it is cracking, there...
And she she put her finger on the drawing...!
Short of other ideas, the chief of engineering decides to make a try on a plane.
Miracle... it works.
He asks the cleaning lady.
- But... how do you explain this, and did you find it?
- How it works, I don't know, but... when did you see toilet paper breaking right at the
dashed line...?

Thanks for not forwarding to the engineers of Airbus, Boeing or Bombardier... 

** Iran Israel Nains de jardin / Gremlins

L'Iran a nié toute implication dans les attentats de Lundi dernier contre des diplomates des ambassades israéliennes dans le Village. Tout comme Israel n'avait pas reconnu les attentats contre quatre ingénieurs iraniens travaillant dans le domaine nucléaire. 

Donc tout va bien entre Israel et l'Iran... pour l'instant... mais je suggère qu'on retrouve au plus vite les lutins, les nains de jardin ou les martiens responsables de ces attentats pour leur demander de cesser de souffler sur le feu...

PS: Je recommande également d'appliquer des sanctions immédiates non seulement contre l'Iran qui nie l'existence d'Israel, mais aussi contre tous les pays du Village qui ne reconnaissent pas les états d'Israel et de Palestine créés le meme jour par les Nations Unies il y a 60 ans. 

Quoi...? cela pourrait inclure beaucoup de pays...? comme...?

Iran has denied any implication in the attacks last Monday against diplomats of the Israeli
embassies lin the Village. Just like Israel had not recognized the attacks against four Iranian engineers working on nuclear research.
So all is well between Israel and Iran... so far... but I suggest to find quickly the gremlins, the garden gnomes or the martiens responsible for these attacks so they can be asked to stop blowing on the fire...

PS: I also recommend to apply immediately sanctions not only against Iran which is denying the existence of Israel, but also against all countries in the Village which do not recognize the State of Israel and the State of Palestine created on the same day by the United Nations more than 60 years ago. What...? it might include a lot of countries...? like...?
