Europe

The European Secretary for the European internal market apparently asked the president of the European Bank authority inquiry to find out how was used the money loaned to the European banks by the European central bank. In less than a year, around 1,000 billion Euros were loaned by the European central bank, but no control of the utilisation of this cash was forecast... Three questions are now on everybody's mind: what percentage of this cash was used for
- helping companies and people with loans,
- recapitalisation of the banks including those which had bet and lost in the financial casinos,
- buying back deficits of countries, but at which rate...?!?
I recommend to also check three other possible uses which should have been forbidden clearly...:
- paying off bonuses to managers or people in the financial casinos. which should have been suspended for a while,
- bets made in the financial casinos, to recoup your losses and get back...
- putting money in tax free financial heavens...
.
And I recommend to lay off immediately those who authorized loans worth 1,000 billions Euros without clarifying the rules for using that cash...

In Quebec, arrests were made for corruption between construction companies and clients ordering public contracts, like municipalities. American observers commented that to stop corruption Quebec should first accept bids from outside Quebec, and that unions should not be all powerful for the choice of the workers on construction sites...
1. If Quebec was able to survive these last years crisis better than other provinces, maybe the preference for Quebec companies did play a role...? I don't think this item is a priority to resolve the issue.
2. A construction company must be able to choose the workers who will make the project a success, including by training them and ny spirit, so they can become more performing with bonuses related to the money made. Are the all powerful unions in the best interest of the workers in the long term if the unions do not give the priority to the training and to the co-operation with the construction companies?
3. The construction companies in the whole Village must unfortunately satisfy the demands of the public agents to obtain contracts. Corruption of public agents is the number 1 the evil which eats the way out the Village. By oublic agents I mean the government, the administration, the police, all those paid with the tax payers money but wanting to get more money for the services rendered taking away public money for personel use. The revolutions in the Arab world in 2011 all had one thing in common: people fed up with the corruption of the leaders and their friends... I know of exemples of corruption of taking away public funds in Canada, the United States, in France, in Italie, in the Arab countries, in Russia, in China, in India, in Japon, etc... and within all political parties, right, left, centre. So in brief... in the whole Village.

A better distribution of the wealth in the Village requires four necessities:
- a severe condamnation of any kind of corruption, with frightening jail sentences and judges... you could not corrupt...
- the right to work for all,
- an important tax of the yearly revenues superior to a certain amount, no matter where these revenues are coming from, as well as of the revenues of the financial casinos, until they are closedney must be found and taken where it is trying to escape, not always by asking sacrifices to the less fortunate... I am not talking about taxing capital which is another subject, and could be subject to voluntary donations... ha ha ha...!
- the declaration of all transactions / gains not submitted to the taxes of the government, like selling narcotics, prostitution, money games and other black markets. Before looking for the little street vendor trying to make a living, why not first make legal any commerce generating plenty of money, like drugs, or prostitution, and closing the financial casinos to oblige the available cash to come back towards the investors and the people.

Hello Houston... (USA)

"Hello Houston..."

- l'autre a Houston.

"Hello Houston..."
It was the call said by all the astronauts of the dozens of flights of the American Space Shuttle at the start of all communications with the American soil. All the Space shuttles took off or landed in Florida and in California.
The three Space Shuttles which had the whole Village dreaming are going to retire. A forth one (Challenger) exploded in early flight in 1986, and a fifth one (Columbia) exploded when returning to earth in 2003...
The three surviving shuttles are going to retire at the Kennedy Space centre in Florida, in California (Los Angeles - California Scientific Centre) and in Houston... no, sorry... in Washington at the Smithsonian museum. I guess the forth or fifth ones could have gone to Houston if they had not exploded...
I recommend that NASA prepare a replica of both shuttles which exploded, and show them... - one in the NASA engineering centre preparing the future spaceship, to remind them of the importance of a simple seal ring or of the choice of a material...,
- the other one in Houston.
In Houston, I recommend a recording of the last conversations between the space shuttle
and Houston, with a last message added, with the same voice, for the astronauts uthere...:
"Houston calling... We will never forget you... so long, see you all later up there..."

Two weeks ago, 11 members of the American secret services traveled to Colombia a few days before the arrival of the President of the USA, each of them in possession of a copy of the President's activities and schedule, in order to check that all would be OK. During these verification, the 11 agents did go to a brothel house. Then they took with them 21 ladies back to their hotel to share the night with them, I guess to check them out in more details... Some of these ladies apparently stayed all night in the rooms, but... apparently did not try to know anything about the trip of the President, although the agents made it clear why they were in Colombia... which in my opinion would tend to prove that these kind of ladies in Colombia are very honest...
You can laugh or cry, but... think about it... everything becomes member of the American delegation had asked them to check the safety of the brothel houses, the quality of the ladies working there and the possible rebate one could expect when paying cash in US dollars...? ha ha..!

Seriously, the 11 security officers were suspended, some of them have already quit, and an inquiry has been launched. I guess that after having met the 11 agents in question, the American judge is going to have to travel to Colombia, and check everything himself... I hope he will still have some time left to try some Colombian coffee...

* F35 américain et prison canadienne / USA F35 and Canadian jail

In Canada, an independent audit has concluded that the government had deceived / misled voluntarily the Parliament (representing the citizens) by concealing the true cost of the purchase of 60 or so stealth bombers fighter jets F35. The two arguments presented by the government and their conservative friends are:
- Canada had no choice but to buy the F35 planes, the only 5th generation bomber fighter jet developed by the western world, already bought by a few NATO countries. And the USA is the eternal and solid ally of Canada. (I failed to understand how this argument answers the accusation of deceit, but keep reading...)
- The difference in the cost presented comes from the fact that the 25 billions of dollars include the maintenance cost over so many years, while the 15 billions dollars announced to the parliament did not.
The two neighboring countries of Canada are the USA and the North pole, and I doubt that any of them will ever attack Canada... Since the government budget has at the same time announced dozens of cuts in the health, social and retirement domains concerning millions of Canadians, one can be afraid that the deception was made to avoid a proper analysis and reaction of the parliament opposition and of the citizens.
I have three comments or propositions:

1. Canada should sign a treaty of non agression with the polar bears, since such a treaty already exists with the USA. After this signature, the Parliament council for the defence of Canada can decide if Canada needs any bomber fighter jets to replace some interception jets... not the same animals...!
Instead of 60 bombing fighter jets, Canada could buy a maximum of 20 bombing fighter jets, and maybe 40 planes or military ships more geared towards the defense of the north seas, being used more and more over the last years.
2.
With the money saved, Canada could review some the latest decisions in the Health, Social and Retirement domains, as well as create a new Minister of Peace, with people developed and trained for promoting peace across the Village, with skills in negotiation, in developing basic needs (like potable water, housing, health services) and supporting local culture and ways of life. This would be a much needed complement to the weapons arsenal of the USA...
3. S
ince the Canadian penal code covers specifically the deceipt of parliament by the government with a maximum jail sentence of 14 years, why is a judge not yet named to fully investigate the matter and decide if the prime minister and/or any of his ministers should benefit of free lodging in a Canadian jail for x number of years?
Who is officially in charge of naming a judge...? I am not sure...
The Parliament? I understand no, and they would be judge and party...!
The Prime Minister...? judge and party...!
So I guess it should be the President of Canada... there is no President...? I see...
So it should be the Queen of England and Canada...? mind you, she lets the prime minister write her answer to his annual state of the nation...! so I dont think she will name a judge to investigate the prime minister doings...
The people in the street...? I don't like this solution...
If a judge is not named shortly by whomever, I predict that the Republic of Canada could be borne sooner than the arrival of Prince Charles to the throne...

The summit of the Americas has just closed without a common declaration, in the absence of an agreement on three items...
1. Argentina wanted that England be condemned for their occupation of the Falklands. This is not very important for the other countries, so there was no chance it would be voted.
2. All the countries of Latin America have asked that Cuba be included at the hext summit: the United States and Canada have refused. The next summit should be held in 3 years... but with or without Cuba? with or without the United States and Canada...? see you in 2015. Two countries of South America have already refused to participate to this year summit due to the absence of Cuba... Are we going to have a 2015 summit of the Americas with only the United States, Canada and... Colombia, if the government is still the same by then... By the way, in the name of what is Cuba excluded from the summit of the Americas? Should the United Nations exclude also any country which does not respect its decisions or its institutions (like the Tribunal of The Hague or the UNESCO)? In this case, the United Nations should transfer its head office quickly outside of the United States...!
3. Many countries in Latin America have asked the United States and Canada to legalise the utilisation of some drugs to help them fight in their countries the black market and the violence around the drug cartels and the colossal amounts of money. For your information a simple "watcher" at the corner of the street for the drug dealers, in France or in the United States, will make more money than a worker paid at the minimum / lower salary in these countries... Maybe these countries in Latin America should simply start legalising these drugs in their own country and should start selling them in State shops, including some a few miles away from the border with the United States, along with cheap medicine and fireworks already sold there... This would be a start that most probably the biggest drug consumer in the Village would have to follow (the United States, where drugs are forbidden...!).

PS: rumor has it that the USA also refused to discuss the subject of legalising prostitution in the Americas, including treating a non payment of services rendered to a prostitute as a crime, which could get you some time in a local jail...

Le Bonheur pour tous dès demain / Happiness for all tomorrow morning

Recently the media love to oppose the atheists to those who follow at 200% a religion
(preferably monotheist). But this shortcut does not take into account billions of people in
the Village...! First of all three definitions...
Atheist: one who does not recognize the existence of any divine or supernatural entity. The two opposites are a deist, who accepts such an entity, or an agnostique, who believes that no-one will ever answer such a question. (of course, nothing prevents an atheist or an agnostique to keep on searching all along their life...)
God: For the monotheist religions, God is a supreme entity, immaterial, unique creator of everything, and of a perfect nature. (although... the uniqueness of the creation is shaking some adepts nowadays, and they are looking for an acceptable compromise...)
Religion: The monotheist religions among others define religion as an assembly of recommendations, teachings and practices for believers who render a cult to superior entity, with a minimum of organisation to insure continuity across time for these practices and cults. (although... marketing methods and priorities put above Peace in the Village can be sometimes surprising in certain religions...)
But... there is no mention of God in Buddhism for instance... or in ancestral religions in Africa or in Asia which give priorities to the relation with the spirit of ancestors who left the Village...

In your opinion, how many people in the Village represent in total: the agnostiques, theBuddhists, the people who simply adore their ancestors, and those who do not agree with
some key teachings or spoken words of their religious hierarchy but still adore the saints
and just issued from these religions... In my opinion we are talking about many billions
of people in the Village who are not atheists nor agreeing 100% in the format and
expression of today's well established religions...
1. I recommend that the media offers us every day an example of someone who helped Peace advance in the Village... and lets their saints and other just take care of the evolution of their established religions.
2. As for the atheists, the media should make a distinction between: those who respect all beliefs and are looking for Peace in the Village; those who are searching outside the religions known to-date; and the others who are not looking for anything, or are advancing with a mask on their face...
3. Finally I recommend to those who believe, in any religion or spiritual life, to put the priority on Peace in the Village, and never to invoke the name of God in an armed conflict...
God hates emptiness, and he tried from time to time to send prophets or reminders:
Jesus, Mahomet, Francis of Assisi... but nowadays, who would still take the time to listen to a prophet? unless... he was to promise happiness for all, starting tomorrow morning, and using Twitter...

University students have been on strike in Montreal for many weeks. The government had announced an increase of the tuition fees in the Universities, and the students are refusing this increase by blocking public accesses or demonstrating in front of government buildings or of private houses of ministers or others.
1. Those who are entitled to demonstrate should be the ones who are paying these tuition fees... ie the parents in most cases. And the citizens who pay taxes to help keep these tuition fees very low are held hostage by the students blocking public accesses... wrong target gentlemen students... if you want the support of the public paying taxes, dont take them hostage... keep your demonstrations for the public buildings (the public servants might welcome your actions...) and the private houses: they will probably be eating out at the restaurant anyway, or watching the hockey Stanley cup...!
2. The government has just proposed to better the conditions for obtaining a loan so that the children of less fortunate families can still go to the Universities. These measures have the support of the majority of the people paying taxes... gentlemen students, one must know when to call it quit...
3. In France where the University tuition fees are among the lowest in the Village, 50% of the students quit University after one year... I am guessing when beer funds and money for going out given by the parents has come to an end... In Montreal, beer is cheap, and Saturday night entrance fee to the discos on bvd St Laurent opening at midnight are very cheap... with a majority of students ordering a bottle of beer and then going to the toilets to fill up the bottle once empty with tap water to stay the whole evening...

Ladies and gentlemen on strike students in Montreal, be reasonable, you only have 3 more months to give sense to your scholar year and get ready to enter active life, when you will pay for your beers and will go back to see Mom and Dad once a week for a good Sunday brunch with the uncles and aunts and the neighbor's cat... Your parents and those who pay taxes want to help you... but don't let a few trouble makers spoil your future, with their passion and their love for revolt just for the sake of revolting...
Although... 45 years ago... around May 1968 in Paris... people were trying to tell me the
same thing...!
The more I think about it, the more I would recommend to organise, in the whole Village, a demonstration of the students every 3 to 5 years... what good is it to be a university student if you did not have the chance to demonstrate publicly for something at least once...

The minister of the defense of Canada has confirmed that he knew as far back as 2010 that the price of the new fighter plane they had just bought from the USA ( a few dozen planes...) was around 25 billions dollars... He also confirmed that the estimate of 15 billions dollars given to the media by the Canadien Defense council was the result of  "differences of an accounting nature"...
The opposition at the Parliament had asked for an inquiry for some time and so now slowly the truth is coming out...
1. Is there a purchase order? nobody read it...? or was there simply a verbal agreement with the American government about monthly payments of a few billions dollars to help pay for development costs and production costs (after the development of course...)? What percentage of the development and of the production will be done in Canada...?
2. Differences of an accounting nature... maybe in the Canadian defense council the engine and the wheels were accounted for on two other separate lines...?
3. Will Canada need a budget overrun when time will come to confirm which system of protection will be used to prevent Canadian geese migrating from being roaster in the F35 reactors?
