Reve Olympique / Olympic dream

Les Jeux Olympiques modernes ont été relances il y a plus d'un siècle par un Français, Pierre de Coubertin, pour célébrer le sport et les compétitions entre les pays du Village avec une trêve pour la PAIX dans toute guerre en cours.

A la cérémonie d'ouverture des Jeux Olympiques de Londres, les discours de l'organisateur anglais et du président du Comite Olympique ont dure environ un quart d'heure. Le rappel d'une treve n'a été évoqué ni par l'un ni par l'autre. Et le mot "paix" n'a été prononce qu'une seule fois, par le président du comite olympique, dans la seule phrase qu'íl a dite... en français... Je suppose pour ne pas fâcher les marchands d'armes du Village, qui sont en majorité dans les quatre pays arrives en tête du classement des médailles... USA, Chine, Grande Bretagne, Russie... un comble, non...?!

Quant a la cérémonie de fermeture, le mot "paix" n' a été prononce que lors de la chanson IMAGINE de John Lennon. J'aurais préféré qu'on choisisse sa chanson GIVE PEACE A CHANCE (DONNONS UNE CHANCE A LA PAIX)... Elle est plus réaliste que sa chanson IMAGINE qui ne voit la paix que lorsqu'il n'y aura plus de religions... La paix passe par l'accord entre les religions... Mais GIVE PEACE A CHANCE, c'est aussi un chant de croisade contre les marchands d'armes...

Combien de contrats de ventes d'armes ont été signés a Londres durant les Jeux Olympiques? Combien de personnes dans le Village ont été tuées dans un conflit arme durant les Jeux Olympiques...? 

Pour les prochains Jeux Olympiques, je propose que tout pays qui envoie une délégation s'engage a ne pas utiliser d'armes pendant toute la période des Jeux... On peut rêver...

The modern Olympic games were launched more than a century ago by a Frenchman, Pierre de Coubertin, to celebrate sport and competitions between the countries in the Village, with a stop for peace in any on-going war.
During the opening ceremony of the Olympic games, the speeches of the Great Britain organiser and of the President of the Olympic Committee lasted about 15 minutes. The recall of a truce in all conflicts was not reminded by any of them. And the word "peace" was only pronounced once, by the President of the Olympic Committee, and in the only sentence he said in French... I guess so he would not disturb the weapons merchants in the Village, which happen to be in majority the four countries on top of the medals count... USA, China, Great Britain and Russia... amazing, no?!?
As for the closing ceremony, the word "peace" was only heard in the song of John Lennon IMAGINE.
I would have preferred his song GIVE PEACE A CHANCE... It is more realistic than his song IMAGINE which only sees peace without any religion... Peace need agreement between all religions.
But GIVE PEACE A CHANCE, that's also a battle song against the weapons dealers...
How many contracts to sell weapons were signed in London during the Olympic games?
How many people were killed in the Village in an armed conflict during the Olympic games...?
For the next Olympic games, I propose that all countries sending a delegation sign a an engagement that they will not use any weapons during the whole duration of the Olympic games... I can dream I guess...
