Afra n'était pas sur de comprendre la politique dans le Village. Il demanda a Agizul:
Af. Pourquoi l'OTAN (Organisation du Traité de l'Atlantique Nord) avec la France,
l'Angleterre et les Etats Unis a aidé les opposants aux régimes en Lybie après que près
d'un miller de civils aient été tués, mais rien n'est fait en Syrie après maintenant près de
7,000 morts?
Ag. La semaine précédente, la secrétaire d'état américaine a condamné ces attaques
meurtrières, et cette semaine le Président des Etats Unis a lui-même condamné
fortement le régime Syrien et regretté le véto de la Russie...
Af. Et après 10 blames, la Syrie va recevoir un avertissement officiel via Email ou
Facebook?... allez, sois sérieux, pourquoi...?
Ag. Parceque... la Syrie n'est pas dans le nord de l'Atlantique!
Af. Mais... des milliers de civils sont tués?... alors, que font les Nations Unies et les
casques bleus de maintien de la paix?
Ag. Ben... les Etats Unis ne sont pas forcément contre la démonstration de l'inefficacité
du conseil de sécurité des Nations Unies (même s'ils en ont profité avec leur véto contre
les résolutions contre Israel), la Syrie est trop près d'Israel, et... il n'y a pas assez de
pétrole en Syrie.
Af. Je ne comprends pas...
Ag. Moi non plus...

Afra was not sure he understood politics in the Village. He tried to ask Agizul:

Af. Why did NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation) with France, England and the
USA helped the opponents to the regime in Libya after close to one thousand civilians
were killed, but nothing is being done in Syria after close to 7,000 casualties now?
Ag. The week before, the USA Secretary of State has condemned these killings, and this
week the President of the USA himself has just condemned strongly the Syrian regime
and regretted the veto from Russia...
Af. And after 10 blames Syria gets an officiel warning by Email or Facebook?... come on,
be serious, why...?
Ag. Because... Syria is not in the Northern Atlantic region!
Af. But... thousands of people are getting killed?... then, what about the United Nations
and the blue helmets peace keeping soldiers?
Ag. Well... the USA doesn't mind putting under the spotlight the inefficiency of the United
Nations Security Council (even if they benefited from it when using their veto for all
resolutions against Israel), Syria is too close to Israel, and... there is not enough oil in
Syria.
Af. I don't understand?
