Last week a popular
jury has condemned a man, his wife and his son for having assassinated the
three daughters and the first wife of the husband by pushing into a canal a car
with the four women in it. The family was originally from Afghanistan, and the
father did not accept that his daughters were following a normal modern life
like a boy friend of their choice.
This crime of so-called "family
honor" has been severely condemned by the judge who red the judgement. He
also estimated that Canada was sending a strong signal to the fans of so-called "family honor" killings.
The judgement: all three persons condemned
to life in jail. Congratulations to Canada and its justice system.
Yesterday a
Canadian Muslim imam has declared a fatwa against all family honor crimes in
general. Thanks for the Muslim women and girls.
Congratulations to Canada and
its imams.
