- Le nouveau patron des Anglicans (nommé archevêque de Canterbury) était
directeur financier d'une grande compagnie pétrolière francaise il y a 10 ans,
et avait été nommé évèque il y a seulement un an. Les bookmakers anglais
vont-ils prendre les paris pour ou contre le forage d'un puits de pétrole sous
la cathédrale de Canterbury en 2013? En tout cas ca renflouerait les caisses de
l'Eglise Anglicane, avec une visite unique dans le Village d'un derrick bien
abrité sous la flèche d'une cathédrale...
- Le premier ministre et des membres du gouvernement israélien avaient
appelé ouvertement les juifs américains a voter contre le candidat démocrate
aux elections présidentielles américaines. Le lobby israélien aux Etats Unis
n'est plus ce qu'il était je suppose... Je me demande qui le président
démocrate re-élu Mr Obama va soutenir aux prochaines élections en Israel en
janvier 2013... en privé bien sur, car tout soutien public de sa part serait
considéré comme une ingérence intolérable dans les affaires intérieures
israéliennes...

C'est son choix... mais la question est quand va-t-il quitter le pouvoir et
laisser les 80% de Sunnites gouverner le pays, comme le prévoyait la
Constitution, abrogée par son père pour permettre a 10% de la population, Shiite,
de contrôler la Syrie...

steeple of a cathedral...
- The
Prime Minister and some members of the government of Israel had called publicly
for the American Jews to vote against the Democrat candidate at the American
Presidential election. I guess the pro-Israel lobby in the USA is no more what
it used to be... I wonder whom the American President will support in the
elections to come in Israel in January 2013... in private of course, as any
public support on his part would be considered as an unacceptable meddling into
national interior Israel affairs...
- Mr
Assad has confirmed that he wanted to "live and die in Syria". That's
his choice... but the question is when will he abandon power and let the 80% of
Sunnites govern the country, as it was written in the Constitution before his
father modified it to allow the 10% Shiites of the population to control
Syria...
