Hier, le Président des Etats Unis a prêté
serment face a un million de concitoyens et invités de marque, et face au
monument dédié au Président Lincoln…
Il a confirmé dans son discours que sa
priorité restait un gouvernement fort, qui lancerait des programmes routiers et
de transport en commun, qui renforcerait les écoles, universités et centres de
formation, qui ferait évoluer le système de santé pour une meilleure protection
des plus faibles et non pas les bonus des directeurs d’assurance santé. Il a
également ajoute que le spectacle ne devait pas remplacer la politique… une
pique a ses adversaires républicains a l’assemblée législative.
Sauf que…
Hier, l’assemblée législative républicaine a
dit qu'elle était contre son programme, et refuse la primauté du gouvernement
sur les députés... un problème qui serait réglé s’il y avait un premier
ministre aux Etats Unis choisi dans la majorité de l'assemblée législative. Aujourd’hui,
l’Assemblée législative est toujours contre son programme, quand bien même
a-t-il été prononcé devant un million de personnes qui ont applaudi… mais l’Assemblée
a été élue par les citoyens américains…

Un député a l’assemblée législative, opposé
au Président Obama, pardon au président Lincoln… va lui rappeler que
l’Assemblée est élue par les citoyens, pour le bien des citoyens. Et le
Président Lincoln va même se faire traiter de roi – dictateur s’opposant a la
volonté populaire représentée par les députés…
150 ans plus tard, les choses n’ont pas
beaucoup changé aux Etats Unis… et elles risquent de ne pas changer tant qu’un
amendement a la Constitution Américaine ne mettra pas de l’ordre dans la
répartition des pouvoirs entre le Président et un premier ministre issu de la
majorité de l’Assemblée législative… poste qui n’existe pas aux Etats Unis…
Les Etats Unis et le Village ne peuvent
plus se permettre deux ans d'inaction et de blocage politique aux Etats Unis. Il
faut changer leur Constitution, élire le Président au suffrage universel (et
pas au travers de grands electeurs), et choisir un premier ministre parmi la majorité
a l'assemblée législative.
Yesterday, the President of the United States has been sworn in, in front of a million people, citizens and VIP, and in front of the memorial of the President Lincoln…
He confirmed in his speech that his priority remains a strong government, which would launch road programs and mass transport programs, which would reinforce schools, universities and training centres, and which would make better the Health system, for the less fortunate. He also added that the show should not replace genuine politics… a smart comment for his republican opponents at the Legislative Assembly.
Except that…
Yesterday, the
Republican legislative assembly said that they were opposed to his program, and
refused the arm twisting from the President… a problem which would be solved if there was
a prime minister in the United States, chosen among the majority at the
Legislative Assembly.
Today, the
Legislative Assembly is still opposed to his program, no matter that it was
pronounced in front of a million people who applauded it… and the Assembly was
elected by the American citizens…

A representative at
the Legislative Assembly, opposed to the President Obama, sorry… to the
President Lincoln… is going to remind him that the Legislative Assembly is
elected by the citizens, for the good of the citizens. And the President
Lincoln is even going to be mocked as a king – dictator opposing the will of
the people, represented by the representatives at the Assembly…
150 years later,
not much has changed in the United States… and not much will change as long as
an amendment to the American Constitution will not settle the sharing of powers
between the President and a Prime Minister issued from the majority at the
Legislative Assembly… Prime Minister which does not exist in the United States…
The United States
and the Village cannot afford anymore two years of inaction and political
blockage. They must change their Constitution, elect their President with one
man = one vote (not through great electors), and choose a prime minister among
the majority at the Legislative Assembly.
