Un astéroïde (caillou dans le ciel) a pénétré
dans l'atmosphère de la Terre, au-dessus de la Russie.
Il avait la taille d'un bus scolaire, et a
explose avant d'atteindre le sol. L'énergie dégagée a été d'environ 20 fois la
puissance de la bombe d'Hiroshima. Dans une ville russe de 1 millions
d'habitants, 1,000 personnes ont été blessées dus au souffle de l'explosion.
Alors pour vous informer... Il y aurait prés
d'un million de tels astéroïdes dans l'espace avec une chance de venir vers
nous. Seulement 1% est répertorié, faute de budget suffisant a la NASA ou a
l'agence spatiale Russe. Il semblerait qu'un astéroïde similaire par jour pénètre
dans l'atmosphère terrestre... un par jour... mais au-dessus des océans ou de régions
inhabitées, donc sans mention dans les media...
