Le pape Francois est en Irak. Il faut quand meme du courage...!

Il va se recueillir sur le mont Ur, lieu sacre d'Abraham, père des trois religions du Livre (Juifs, Chrétiens, Musulmans). J'espere qu'un rabbin d'Irak et l'Ayatollah Chiite ont prévu de l'accompagner?

Par contre il a déjà rencontré l'Ayatollah Ali Sistani, guide supreme des chiites en Irak et reconnu dans tout le Village par les Chiites. Ils ont tous les deux convenu que la paix, la sécurité et les droits des Chrétiens en Irak seraient protégés. Le message est clairement pour la population Chiite irakienne.

Le pape Francois avait déjà rencontré un imam Sunnite l'an dernier aux Émirats Arabes Unis, et ils avaient signé une declaration conjointe s'engageant pour la paix

Jesus et Marie sont des personages reconnus et vénérés dans le Coran, et ont leur place dans le Dome du Rocher a Jerusalem. Ce rapprochement meme encore symbolique entre la religion chrétienne catholique romaine et les deux grands courants de la religion musulmane était donc du depuis longtemps, et ne pourra qu'aider a rapprocher sur le terrain les jeunes des deux religions, y compris dans les banlieues et les cités dans tout le Village.

Pope Francis is in Irak. Takes some courage, no?...!

He is going to pray  on the mont Ur, sacred place for Abraham, father of the three religions of the Book (Jews, Christians, Muslims). I hope that a rabbi from Irak and the Ayatollah Shiite are scheduled to go with him?

Mind you, he has already met with the Ayatollah Ali Sistani, supreme guide of the Shiites in Irak and recognized in the whole Village by the Shiites. They have both agreed that peace, security and rights of the Christians in Irak would be protected. Clearly the message is intended for the Shiites in Irak.

Pope Francis already met last year with a Sunnite Imam in The United Arab Emirates, and they did sign a joint declaration for peace.

Jesus and Mary are people recognised and venerated in the Koran, and have their place in the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. This reconciliation even if still symbolic between the Roman Catholic Christian religion and the two main branches of the Muslim religion has been overdue for a long time, and will only help on the ground the reconciliation between youths of both religions, including in the suburbs and and the cities in the whole Village.
