Les maladies liées au tabac tuent plusieurs milliers d'américains par an... en fait 450,000 par an, soit plus de 1 pour mille de la population... ou encore plus de 1.300 personnes par jour...
Une grande chaine de pharmacies (CVS) aux USA vient de decider de ne plus vendre de tabac dans ses magasins, au nom de la protection de la santé. Bravo.

Pourquoi ne pas réserver la vente de tabac et d'alcool a des magasins spécialises, qui existent déjà au Canada et dans plusieurs états des Etats Unis? Tant qu'a faire on pourrait alors y ajouter la vente de marijuana (a titre médical bien sur, avec suivi medical), et renommer ces magasins SPA - Société des Produits Addictifs... avec une taxe spéciale de vente de 20% minimum pour renflouer le système de santé dans ces pays.

A big chain of chemists (pharmacists) in the USA (CVS) has decided to stop selling tobacco in its stores, in the name of the protection of the people's health. Bravo.

Why not reserve the sales of tobacco and alcohol to some specialized stores, which already exist in Canada and in many states of the USA? And we might as well add the sale of marijuana (for medical purpose of course, with medical follow-up), and rename these stores SAP - Society of Addictive Products... with a special sales tax of 20% minimum to help fund back the health system in these countries.
