Revolver? gun?

Un américain ancien militaire s'est presenté a la frontière du Canada avec un revolver dans la boite a gants de la voiture... de sa femme.
Il a déclaré qu'il n'avait pas d'arme a bord de son véhicule, et quand les douaniers canadiens ont fouillé son vehicule et trouvé le revolver, il a été arrêté et gardé 4 jours en prison. Il risque 3 ans de prison lors de son procès.
Cet ancien militaire a déclaré qu'il avait enlevé son revolver personnel de sa voiture lorsque il avait été a un rendez-vous dans une base militaire américaine, pour ne pas risquer d'avoir d'histoires..., et qu'il l'avait alors mis dans la voiture de sa femme... ben voyons... Venant d'un ancien militaire, l'excuse n'est pas acceptable.
- D'abord un militaire sait en tout temps ou se trouve son arme, et si vous ne la gardez pas sur vous, gardez la a la maison, dans un lieu sur.
- Ensuite s'il a pu oublier ou il avait mis ce revolver, alors il a mérite les 4 jours de prison et le procès qui l'attend pour insouciance et conduite irresponsable.
Quand a sa dernière excuse que son GPS ne lui avait pas indiqué qu'il entrait dans un autre pays que les USA,... c'est a pleurer de rire...
Bien entendu le juge pourrait sans doute réduire la peine de 3 ans a un mois, a passer dans la prison la plus au nord du Canada, près des ours polaires par exemple... comme cela il n'oubliera pas qu'il y a un pays au nord des Etats Unis...

Le Canada n'est pas un pays d'ours et d'orignaux pour le plaisir des chasseurs et visiteurs americains.
Il est grand temps qu'un example comme celui ci montre a nos amis americains que le Canada n'accepte pas le port d'armes en public ou d'amener son revolver au Canada, meme si dans votre ville vous pouvez l'amener au restaurant ou a l'église.

A former military American showed up at the border of Canada with a gun in the glove compartment of... his wife's car.
He declared that he had no firearm in his car, and when the custom officers searched his car and found his revolver, he was arrested and kept 4 days in jail. He will be judged and might get 3 years in jail.
This former military declared that he had removed his personal gun from his car when he went to a meeting in a US Army compound, to make sure he would not get into trouble..., and he had then put it in his wife's car glove compartment... sure... Coming from a former military the excuse is not acceptable.
- First of all a military personel knows at all times where is his gun, and you do not keep it with you, keep it in the house, in a safe place.
- And if he forgot where he put his gun, then he deserves the 4 days in jail, and the trial he will get for lack of consciousness and not responsible attitude. 
As for his last excuse that his GPS did not warn him that he was entering a foreign country other than the USA... I could laugh till I cry...
Of course the judge could reduce the jail time from 3 years to 1 month, to be spent in a jail in Northern Canada, close to the polar bears for instance... that way he won't forget that there is a country north of the USA...

Canada is not a country just full of wild bears and moose for the pleasure of the American hunters and visitors.
It is about time that this example reminds our American  friends that Canada does not accept  bearing your gun in public places or bringing a firearm in Canada, even if in your hometown you are allowed to carry it in a restaurant or in a Church.
